Wyoming Game Week Thread - Saturday at some ungodly time

Should have 6 of those rushing ruddies on the season.
This Kaidon Salter and playcalling has us sitting at no worse than 3-1 right now, and maybe 4-0. Wyoming isnt great but they are not a bad team and this was a 44 or 47 point offensive performance that was pretty balanced. That is an 8-9 win offense. Defense has to continue to improve but that team can win games.

Buffs win!

That's the Salter I was expecting.

Saw a lot of things I liked tonight. OL had a very good game. Buffs went down field. Defense finally generated some pressure.

On a day when Nebraska, Utah, Baylor and CSU all lost.

Today Was A Good Day GIF

I'm way behind because I was in Colorado Springs-but two early observations.....Salter has been good. The touchdowns were tremendous. He's the starter. We need a bowl, and he's the best option. His athleticism gives the run game a bit more depth, he's played a lot of football, and the second TD to Brown was perfect. I've seen the final score, so I'm expecting to get pissed off watching the 2nd half.....but really good first half. Feels a bit like their game with Utah.

Observation on Wyoming-they're a lot better than I thought they were..........and they're a bowl team. They have two wins already, Air Force can't stop anybody, and CSU is bad.

Thank God we beat Wyoming and now we can again hope to get to 6 wins and a Bowl Game. This team is going to be interesting in the Big 12. Still looks like a 5-win team to me. How do we match up against BYU?

Part of me thinks this was unlucky.

Salter looks like he can’t throw on the run at all. And throws when he should run.

Then some mf comes in and starts whipping up touchdowns like it’s a cotton candy station at a bar mitzvah.

Unlucky.
Salter threw a nice touch pass to Sincere on the run tonight

CFB is full of inaccurate QBs

Our paradigm was impacted by the most accurate QB in CU history the last two seasons.

we need 8+ wins. there are no world beaters in this conference. we lost a lot of great players to the nfl. we win 8+ this year, and that there is a very ****ing good rebuild.

I like a lot of the young guys. this is a better team top to bottom than last year although the top was way better last year. we can build on this.

there are no Godzillas in the bi12. seize the ****ing conference by the short and curlies and make it ours.

Are you drunk?

The dude has hit 84% of his field goals, he’s made all but one XP.

You rather have a guy who can hit from 69, but can’t make 70% of his kicks?
He has a high percentage because high percentage kicks are all he’s capable of. His limit is around 48 yards. And he was lucky his game tying extra point against Georgia Tech cleared the cross bar after getting tipped at the LOS. His lack of range hurts our offense because where teams with great kickers can score if they reach the 39 or 40, the Buffs have to get to the 30 to be in his range.

Sorry - this team isn't sniffing 8 wins, including any toilet bowl game we end up in
