Sorry for no gif, but this seemed like the thread to share.
I was chatting with some of my students before class today about their weekends. College football came up, unsurprisingly. One of the teams that's popular in these parts (think P5 basement dweller) beat a bad OOC opponent this weekend, and so the students were excited.
I mentioned that my alma mater lost by 31 points to a service academy.
One student on the far side of the room overheard the conversation and commented "Colorado? Oh yeah, did you know that they're the only team in the nation that's an underdog in every single game for the rest of their season?"
This is in a part of the country where CU is completely irrelevant.. But we are bad enough that even southerners know we're a joke. Famous for being ****ty.
