CU players in the NFL

Yeah, I am not offended.

Furthermore, I am a major homer, but Howell's aggregate stats of Phil pulling from high school and college is a little embarrassing...

I appreciate the sentiment alluding to Phil being over looked, I just believe Howell could have framed it better. ie..

Lindsay is the first undrafted RB to have two consecutive 1000 yard seasons in the NFL

Or

Despite being over looked and undrafted Lindsay continues to prove the football world wrong

...I simply felt like Howell was sounding super homererotis in the tweet.
Dude, he's just showing appreciation for Lindsay's accomplishments. You're overthinking it.

Everyone reported first undrafted RB to have two consecutive 1000 yard seasons in the NFL. Howell was the only person I saw with any type of unique take.

What round would Lindsay have been drafted in hindsight? Twenty RB's were taken, he's third in yards rushing.

Chubb has 2490 yards, Barkley, 2310, Lindsay 2048, Michel 1843, Kerryon Johnson 1044, Royce Freeman 1017.

Probably 5-6 rounds. Just because of size.

I pay close attention to Chido and Witherspoon each week. Both are being crucified by their respective fan bases for poor play almost every week.

Montez cannot be happy that Jake Fromm just declared for the draft!!! That bumps him down another spot.

Witherspoon has really struggled since returning from a foot injury in November that had him out from week 3. Was picked on all night by Russ then benched for the final drive but he is getting the start vs the Vikings this weekend.

Rough start.

The football in the XFL has actually been pretty entertaining. Nelson Spruce had two catches for 28 yards on LA's first drive. Nice to have on between basketball games.

We are so blessed to have local CU stars finding success recently; from (true CO) Lindsay and White to Dinwiddie and Laviska, I love that these young men are representing in the game and finding ways to impact more than the game.

I didnt mean this as a knock against him. Just my frustration that he cant stick with a NFL team. He obviously has the skills.
You think the NFL isn’t paying attention to the stars in this league? Any exposure is helpful.

He is as good as some of the guys in the NFL but isn't star quality.

He needs to find a team where he is the right fit and then he needs to stay healthy long enough to establish himself on that team.
