2023 Colorado Football Schedule & Future Schedules

Realize I'll probably be in the minority here, but I like that 11AM kickoff for Minnesota. Figure we're leaving Folsom around 2:30PM, that's enough time for a nap before the Greensky Bluegrass show at RR.

I wonder if the Pac 12 decided they wanted that one? See below for a list of the Fox affiliate matchups for the 18th... CU vs Minn is way more compelling than USC/WSU, and most of the others for that matter.

You're giving the conference too much credit. You know what the 11am MT timeslot on Pac 12N should be for? Stony Brook at Oregon or Sacramento State at Cal. Instead, you're throwing a game involving two power 5 teams on a channel that no one gets and making them play so early that the atmosphere will be absolutely ****ing sterile.

Just more proof we're on the SS Titanic of major conference football. **** this league.

9/11 is a big day for Pac 12 on the big FOX channel. Oregon vs tOSU at 10am (MT), CU vs aTm at 1:30, and USC vs Stanford (Pac 12 After Dark)

Washington/Michigan gets the Saturday Night Football treatment as well that day. Knowing this league, Washington and Oregon should both take it on the chin. We probably will too. Can't wait to totally ****ing embarrass ourselves as a conference that day!

Not sure what’s going on there. You would think espn or fox would have claimed that game since they are only taking one that week total in the usc game.

But it's USC who is almost always a better national draw regardless of who they're playing
Yeah but Espn and fox only claimed one game that week right? The other games are road games (Stanford at vandy and asu at byu) so there should have been atleast one more game for the networks to take. Just weird all around

This league had one game picked up by its Tier 1 TV partners COMBINED that day.

This would be cool. Other noteworthy games that week include:

Cincinnati at Notre Dame
Michigan at Wisconsin
Auburn at LSU

Cincy/ND is on NBC and is obviously the headliner for that week. I don't think Gameday has to go to a game that ESPN/ABC is broadcasting, but I imagine that's a priority. IMO CU will probably be 2-2 going into this game, while USC will likely be 4-0.

Yes! Gophers came to us for a shellacking in ‘91 and Koy Detmer came in for Duke Tobin, who was starting for an injured Kordell as we escaped with a 1 point win.
nice write-up by CU at the Game
I remember that. the Gophers were decent to pretty good back then. They might have been ranked one of the times we played them?

Went ahead and read that, forgot some of what happened that evening. Good stuff. (y)

USC in 2004.

Last for the Big 12 was Texas in 2005.

Funny how the latter isn't a narrative.
True. But I think that the Big 12 playing in the playoffs a lot more often and a lot more recently sort of shapes that narrative.
