Feel free to move that post of the depth chart into this thread.

A few other notes.. Mustafa cleared to practice. I think he'll have 3-4 non contact practices and then a certain amount of contact practices before he can play in a game, but not sure on the rule there.

Not sure if Fillip being ahead of schedule means he might be available on Saturday?? Barnes being available is great news

ALL of this is good news. Woot !!

I highly doubt Fillip is available Saturday, but it probably means he will be ready to go for Minnesota.

Should be able to play some part in the game. His injury is upper body and he has been working on his physical condition and taking mental reps.

genuinely curious to see what the team looks like against atm. it should be a good measuring stick. what texas did to our Buffs at the end of last season was ugly.
You can rest assured: if the team comes out flat, it will not be anyone’s fault. It’ll be because the players are not motivated to win.

Mustafa will need to serve his suspension. Many think USC game. I don’t see FF playing this week.

Most sites have Colorado +17 on Saturday against the #5 ranked team in the country. aTm definitely has a talent surplus, but this is just a great opportunity for the Buffs to play against one of the best in a nationally televised game.

Colorado is +17, not -17.

Is this a worry after Friday's flag festival? I'm more worried they're too amped up and continue doing stupid ****.
I think they will clean up the penalties. Nearly a third of the penalty yardage was after the whistle. Examples: When Blackmon picked off a pass in the end zone and was down, he was so excited that he sprinted with the ball raised down the sideline almost 100 yards. That will get called 80% of the time. Another 15 yarder was bad language after the play. As for on the field penalties, two were wide receiver false starts. These are easy ones to coach out of.

Innocent until proven out of the playoff.
I mean it was only unlawful carrying of a weapon, failure to identify/giving false information, marijuana possession, and driving with an invalid license. If you assume that he would have played around 3 quarters last week (they had around 75 defensive plays in the whole game) he was suspended for a whole 14 plays or 2.5 drives per charge. That seems very punitive for the SEC.

Honestly, I know this isn’t entirely an SEC issue, but this is an area I’d love to see the Alliance take a hard stance on - arrests, weapons, drugs, and other serious legal violations should be treated as such. No more of these bulls**t 1 game suspensions against cupcakes.

It would be so fitting for Clemons to play against CU while Mustafa sits because of some ridiculous NCAA rule.

I don't even know why hiring an agent is suspension worthy anymore. With all the NIL stuff, what grounds are they standing on to still have that as a rule?

I can get behind a rule that says if a player is in an NFL training camp his collegiate eligibility automatically expires, but simply hiring an agent shouldn't be against the rules. If they are going to let college athletes make money, why shouldn't they be able to hire an agent to seek out NIL opportunities?
