Other games 9/23-9/25

Without hyperbole, didn’t we have a record close to that a while back?
I think you are talking about this stretch.

In 2012, Coach Embree led CU to its only win of the season on the road against WSU in a game WSU essentially gave to the Buffs. It was the first road conference game that year. I believe that was the origin of the phrase "Cougin' it".

2011 - lost 5 conference road games
2010 - lost 4 (plus got destroyed at Cal in our last Big 12 season)
2009 - lost 4
2008 - lost 4
2007 - Beat Baylor in Waco on Oct 6th and TT in Lubbock on Oct 27th, then lost in Ames to ISU on the last road conference game of the year.

So that's really bad, but literally a third as bad as KU's current run of ineptitude (18 over 5 seasons vs. 54 over 12+ seasons).

“Cougin’ it” has been around for a long, long time.

Maybe? Just feels like their days of dominating the West are over.
Sure, it’s them or Iowa, but mostly because Wisconsin can’t put together any semblance of a passing game. This year they aren’t running the ball as well as they usually do, but their defense continues to be elite just about every year
