Official ****braska Hate Thread

I gotta admit to a funny story in Orlando during the World Cup back in 1994, where my wife and I went down to watch a handful of games, including a couple of sweet games with Dennis Bergkamp and the Netherlands team, but we were staying in Orlando hotels, drinking Orlando Zima's ( ) and were quickly running out of money, so when the last game we were planning to watch was being played, we needed the Netherlands to win the game to keep them in Orlando for their Round of 16 game, and thank god they scored in like the 78th minute to win the game, so we had 2 tickets to that Round of 16 game in our pockets, so we walked out, raised them above our heads, sold them for $200 and put gas in the car and drove our broke asses home.
Good times at the World Cup.

World Cup and Orlando is like the opposite of a Reese's Peanut Buttercup.

One game we saw was Ireland v Mexico and the health dept would not authorize beer sales in 105 degree heat. The Irish were having withdrawals and sun strokes, while the Mexicans were chilling in the heat like any other day. You can imagine who won the game.

Attending a World Cup is an epic experience. There are many soccer games that even I would not rush out to see, but World Cups, with stadiums full of the home fans are pretty amazing. Bucket list stuff, like the Masters, or Indy 500.

The Irish looked like they wanted to die and find a cold shady place to hide.

Mexico won that game 2-0

I'm sincerely glad you enjoyed the experience.

I had a blast at a test cricket match in Sydney once.

I'm always grateful to Floridians and Texans for loving where they live.
They might love where they live but don't like staying there all year. In this area, Durango especially, we are infested with Texans. I don't just mean during ski season or in the summer, that's a given. I mean all ****ing year. Folks from Florida, you'll see occasionally, not much though.

You are welcome. I want to thank my family, friends, and especially every ****ing Nub dooshbag for the inspiration to create this thread years ago. God bless you all.

No, correct link.

The fusker fans made such a big deal out of that tackle in a football game like Collier was one step from being a felon.

Fast forward and in a basketball game the fusker player cheap shots a key player from Wisconsin, potentially taking him out of the tourney, as the fusker mugged him on his way to the hoop.

To make things worse the fuskers actually won a B1G basketball game.so their fans think it was worth it.

The Irish develop sunstrokes when the temps exceed 72!!!

We see those Urkaine folks making moltovs to use against Putin's Russians. I'm thinking it's not too late to start stockpiling balloons, used non-rechargable battries, things like that for next year's game when Frosty's Cornholers come to Boulder.

Does Collier have any egibility left? Might need him to take care of Thompson's ankle or knee after what he did against CU in the Alamo Bowl.

Piss molotovs, I like it.

I'm in Indy for a trade show. The Combine, this show, and B1G tournament bring in a lot of people, the town is hopping. Anyway, the Nubs b-ball team is staying in my hotel. I'm up in the hotel gym when a few of them walk in. They see my CU shirt and start giving me ****, friendly but still ****. I say 62-36 and they look at me like I'm from out of space, not a clue what I mean. Then one of them says, hey at least they have mountains to look at every day, we got cows. See, the Flatirons DO matter!
You could mention to them that with their record this year they should have plenty of time to watch the Buffs play during tournament time.

Didn't Husker fans always boast about how morally superior they are to CU fans?

When your team sucks as bad as theirs does, alcohol is a welcome painkiller.
