Prime is Polarizing

You know how sometimes tone is lost in writing.

I'm pretty sure that Hokie's post means, "I'd love to meet you in person. Let's grab a beer."

Most people would read it as "SAY IT TO MY FACE, mother****er! I DARE YOU."
What’s the tone of the gif just above your post here? In regards to what is responding to..

Who T F is Chad Ricardo and why am I supposed to care what he says? The best Twitter responses were the ones touting hummingbird feeders.

Yeah, like obviously it's stupid to say...if you're anyone but Prime. He will get away with it because parents and kids will not give two shots about these comments.

All I know is that this is the Real Chad Ricardo. Fake Chad Ricardo, Pseudo Chad Ricardo, and Rad Chicardo can all eat **** and die.

There has been more conversation on this board about these comments than in national media. By national media, I don't mean bait clickers on a mic in their basement on a podcast trying to generate traffic. It has been relatively a non-issue, nothing to see here...

I think the comments in question are totally honest and tells us how much Deion understands the mental and emotional aspects of his role. It shows a willingness to identify with and coach the players not just as athletes but as human beings. I am a teacher and it is 100% true that a good teacher will employ different methods to students who have different backgrounds, attitudes, and ways of learning. I don't see these comments as insensitive; I see them as honest and synergistic, and very emotionally attuned to what matters-- honest assessments of the players coming into our program are clearly far more important than speaking with milquetoast comments that are designed to appease everyone.

Also, Deion is a football coach and not a politician. There are absolutely valid reasons why politicians should regularly and consistently speak in a politically correct manner that absolutely do not always apply to a football coach. People being unable to differentiate between political leadership and athletic leadership is a big reason why so many fell for the orange doofus.

Probably not of interest to most, but an article about white politicians seeking to control law enforcement in Jackson.
Shows the contrast to a city that is 80% Black and a world away from Boulder. It's nice that CP got to make the switch.

Probably belongs in the politics forum where I think it already is. Not sure what this has to do with "Prime is polarizing" thread.

You’ll want to hold on to this one when folks here on AB say that there’s no such thing as white privilege.

I value your comment, as much as I would one that corrects spelling. Are you a librarian? Always want to be one?
You not seeing why the switch in his lifestyle could interest some people, is amazing to me.

There is white privilege, but not for everyone. I'm more white than other ethnicities I have in my blood, lineage whatever. I was good enough to be a teammate, friend, yada yada. That was until certain events would take place that I apparently wasn't rich or good enough for. To be honest with you, I wouldn't have went to said events regardless unless I had my eye on a certain young lady, there is that. :D Oh well, I didn't give a rat's ass then and don't now. Bunch of rich folks tooting their horn. Guess I didn't fit in with that group, I'm so sad.

I have so many questions.
