Spring Practices Thread-2023

One thing I am getting kind of tired of is the constant focus on all the JSU people and transfers, yea we know who they are, I don't need to see them every day. Granted I know Uncle Neely is still doing his thing in Jackson, but would like to see a little more on some of the other players that came in from elsewhere or guys that have stepped up during spring that are holdovers.

For those who may not know:

The Boulder Daily Camera is a subscription site, but the Buff Zone, the CU sports coverage, is free:

I thought CSU had an indoor facility. Ish. Like 3/4 of an actual indoor facility, but enough so they wouldn’t have to have spring practice in the snow.

Media was allowed to watch practice again today. RK said Drew Carter looked good on the DNVR Buffs show.

And Jimmy Horn was the first player to earn a jersey number.

Edwards is shining in practice and will be fun to watch.

When is the last time the Buffs had 165 lb running back? Hopefully they can get him up to a beefy 175.

add: I looked to see what Phil Lindsay weighed (190), and saw he just signed an XFL contract with Seattle. Good luck to him.

I’m guessing Speedy was probably in that range when he got to campus.

Maybe I misunderstood them but I thought they made it sound like he wasn't with the team or something.
What part of the video? Toward the end they just said he was the only offensive staff member who hasn't been a head coach and that will help him mature as a coach himself. Maybe I missed something else, but it looks like he was doing a press conference today.

Nevermind, I misinterpreted something they said towards the beginning about getting the receivers ready for the fall in August or sth.

shedeur definitely has a big time power conference arm and presence. if he has a big season, we may win a few more games than folks expect.... hopefully we see the defense get better or we may see some high scoring games. heh.

those great wideouts are going to be super fun.
