Louisville is a collection of morons, and I'm including Pitino in the bunch. They had timeouts both at the end of regulation and the end of the first overtime and the didn't take any.

The guard walked the ball up the court and took a contested 27 footer, even though they had over 11 seconds to work with. Just stupid.
 
Triple overtime. Holy ****. Louisville does not know how to score with 11 seconds...
 
Speechless. Is Pitino ever planning on coaching during the last ten plus seconds of a period?

RPI was like 33. Losing at home to a #136 Illinois State would hurt. Not knock them out, but move them from safety.

UCLA finished off Washington State at Pauley. Bruins are looking like they're in good shape.
 
Smith is a total moron. Pitino is guilty of letting him have the ball all of these times and wasting the opportunity.
 
Doesn't get much better than quadruple OT between ranked teams. I love college basketball!

Yep, and they have tricky road games at Northern Iowa and Evansville in their next two. MVC has been cannibalizing each other lately, with Wichita State slipping big time and now Creighton losing two in a row. If Creighton loses at Northern Iowa or Evansville, they will officially put themselves in the danger zone.
 
Envisioning Allbuffs when a Sabatino Chen 3 pointer that clearly went off in time to beat Arizona again on Valentine's Day that the refs cheat and take away subsequently leads to a 4OT game
 
Smith's late game decision-making is horrible. Why did he shoot that with a 2 pt lead and the shot clock turned off? Pitino must want to ring that kid's neck.
 
In other news, Illinois State got the 75072 win at Creighton.

Saint Mary's is in a dogfight with San Diego. Go Toreros. 36-34 at the half and USD is confident after beating BYU.

Night owls should keep an eye on St. Mary's at San Diego. With BYU firmly out the picture now, St. Mary's is the WCC's last hope for a second bid, assuming the Zags win the conference tournament. Right now, it's halftime with St. Mary's up by 2. St. Mary's is 20-4, 9-1, with an RPI of 57th. Their best win is BYU, yawn, with 3 'meh' losses.
