2017 Season Hype/Countdown Thread

Soul shaking and back breaking! :ROFLMAO:
I just love his stuff. I remember when tony clemons was coming in and was going to bring back some " swag". And how insanely vanilla and lifeless we were. Now there are big peronsonalities and big bodies all over the field!! Its aweswome !!

I believe that picture is from 10 seconds in to this highlight clip from Oregon State.

That was awesome! But one thing I noticed about our kicks was the low trajectory. I hope we fix that or we'll have some kicks blocked or deflected.

wanted to post this, because....

Good afternoon Brian, I did a little research on the best offensive line in CU history which if you choose NFL years played as the criteria for "best" O lines ever... The 1994 Buffs basically ran a two tight end set all year and had seven lineman blocking on every run play. All seven played in the NFL with three lineman playing over ten years and none played less than four years. That group had a total of 53 years of NFL experience. All eleven members of the starting offense played in the league with a total of 76 years of NFL experience. Using the criteria I mentioned the '94 team has an argument for the best offense in NCAA history. Could any other teams for one year have that kind of representation in the NFL?

Oliver listed as a "Breakout Candidate"
  • Isaiah Oliver, Colorado: While fellow Colorado corners Chidobe Awuzie and Ahkello Witherspoon were drafted in the second and third rounds, respectively last spring, Oliver was excellent on his 517 snaps and he has a chance to be one of the nation’s top corners with an increased workload. Oliver has good size and physicality and he has broken up 13 of his 91 career targets. Look for him to be a household name by the end of 2017 and a coveted NFL prospect due to his size and speed.

Who is that #9? I'd like to think this one is a better choice...

There are some really cool breakdowns of some of CU's offensive concepts & plays in the linked article if, like me, you like to geek out a bit on the x's & o's.

Fake news! I have been informed be several allbuff posters that the QB power was banished from the playbook when Sefo graduated.

Phillip Lindsay is the ****ing man. GET HYPED.

Q: Given this is as healthy and strong as you've been, what is the ceiling this year personally? What do you want to leave as your legacy?

“For me, it is all about the team. Without the offensive and defensive lines, we're nothing. That is the heart of the team. You can't win a championship without them. If they are rolling, all you have to do is your part. With the talent we have at receiver, with the talent we have at quarterback, I just need to go in there and trust them beasts up front and play my game.

“And for me, it is not just running the ball. It is about blocking, that is number one, making sure (Steven) Montez stays healthy. He's our guy, period. I am going to make sure I do everything I can to keep that man safe.

Lots more great stuff in there.

PLindsay is a true teammate and would totally go to war with him. Montez should feel a little safer.
