Which job and which school is better or worse and why?

Are you serious Clark? Lubbock v. Boulder is self-explanatory to anyone who has been to Lubbock, or even within 100 miles of it.
CU has the richer history and tradition. More wins, better winning percentage, natty, more conference titles and of course Boulder v Lubbick. Tech has a better bowl record and is located in the the second most fertile recruiting state in the country, but they also play 3rd or maybe even 4th or 5th fiddle at the point in their own state to UT and A&M, if not TCU and Baylor as well.
I would say CU is probably the better job, but I'm biased.

In addition, CU’s facilities top TTUs.
I assume that's probably the case as of right now, but probably won't be in 5 years or so. Facilities will always be a revolving door for whose are the best.

CU is s better job. GT is now most attractive opening.
FS says the primary names for GT job right now are Wizenhunt, Satterfield and Tony Elliot with Monken and Brian Bohannan as options if they want to stick with triple option.

I had hoped that everyone agreed that Colorado is better than Texas Tech, but wanted to hear it. I think Colorado is a far far better job, but if we do not hit it out of the park this time, then we risk moving farther and farther down the order of legitimate programs. TT has gotten a little too much attention as if they have actually won something or done something. TT is a joke, in a joke town, and we must rise back up.

I don’t. He came across much more arrogant than I originally thought. He was constantly pointing fingers and saying he had better opportunities. I don’t see him swallowing his pride, he’ll want to be a HC
If he doesn't have another desirable HC option, yes, but once you become a HC for as long as he was (almost a decade), I think the idea of transitioning to a coordinator can be less than appealing. IMO, Mac is going to have to choose between being a DC for a P5 program or going back to the G5 ranks as a HC in order to turnaround yet another program and try to launch himself into another P5 HC job.
Maybe he should go get some recruiting religion from Saban for a year, then he will have a good chance at another P5 job.

Brohm leaving would've put them in play for Day as well, I guess. So you can look at it either way, but if Day is our guy I think it's reasonable to believe that we might too far down the road with him for him to change his mind.

Louisville has a lot of money. Close to the recruiting hotbed that is the southeast. Much better recent success and presence in the NFL. Louisville is the better job by far. Sad to say that.
It's such a great job that an alum with all sorts of ties to the area just said no to them to stay at Purdue.

B1G money talks. Huge investment in football at Purdue. Better opp than Ville.
What does the bold even mean above? They recently have sucked. Purdue is decent. Who cares about how many guys went to the NFL 4 years ago? They suck pigeon dicks the last few years.

Louisville has been to bowl games 8 times in the last decade and they’ve won 4 of those. They have a recent Heisman winner.
Purdue has 3 bowls and 2 wins in the last decade.
To get to the last 4 bowls CU has won, we go all the way back to Slick Rick and the 1996 Holiday bowl.
Louisville has had a bad couple of years, but that is a program that has had a lot of recent success.
Louisville is the perfect spot for Mike MacIntyre
They would laugh at that thought. He even seems like a poor hire for GT
