Are we sure MacIntyre didn’t take the Ole Miss job last year? Has anyone ever seen him and Luke in the same place?
Unless MacIntyre is the next Saban restoration project.

It sounded good in theory, but I really think we dodged a bullet. And by dodged a bullet, I mean we should be happy Rick George never had any interest in bringing in Miles.Wow. Les was really bored and desperate to get back in the game.

Les Miles: Miles conducted meetings in March about possibly re-starting the UT-Arlington football program, according to Ben Baby of the Dallas Morning News. Obviously, UTA has not re-started football and Miles is now the head coach at Kansas.

I can see the presentation now: Les Miles on how to start a FB program in 15 words or less, or fifteen minutes, whichever comes first.Wow. Les was really bored and desperate to get back in the game.

NoIf you're the new CU coach, are you looking at bringing in a few of these scapegoated SC coaches?
We have a QB coaching RBs.I'd rather him coach the position he played in college-under Ryan Day or some other offensive guy who would call plays.
How many recruiters does Kentucky have?Yeah I don’t remember saying as OC. You def find a spot for him somewhere though. Guy has gotten it done everywhere he’s been. Was ranked the 18th best recruiter at Kentucky before going to USC. That’s not easy to do
How many recruiters does Kentucky have?
That's really not unusual. Extremely common in factWe have a QB coaching RBs.
RBs is a pretty easy position to coach. That’s why the need for that coach to bring something else to the table. Usually a top recruiter but can be special teams etcThat's really not unusual. Extremely common in fact

Hagan was an option QB-the way the godfather ran that system, he was basically a glorified RB.
I think the aspects of a RB that make them great vice just good are the things the option QBs DON’T do. It’s the blocking, catching, power running for short gains. Yeah, I get the “read the block, find the hole” stuff. But the other things mean more to me which is why I always thought Hagan as a RB coach might have been whyniur guus had such a hard time on 3/4 and 1 or why we NEVER use them as safety valves.Glorified RB is correct. In the option the QB was a RB who could throw the ball a little bit. Other difference was that he was usually a guy with the leadership and intelligence to understand and run the offense.
He also played a little bit of RB in the CFL before transitioning to DB for most of his career. Being able to make a position change at the pro level (even in the CFL) shows a guy who is able to learn and adapt.
With this I hope that Hagan isn't part of the new staff. He's a great Buff and it would be good to keep him in the athletic department in some position but I haven't been impressed enough with his contributions as a coach or recruiter to think we can't and shouldn't do better.
I’m just saying, if he’s the 18th best at Kentucky, and he’s awesome, they must have a crap ton of awesome recruiters.Does it matter if they have 1 or 100? If you’re a top 20 ranked recruiter at a basketball school that’s pretty impressive in my book. Kentucky rarely if ever gets a top 20 class. So even if he gets credit for every recruit they signed that year it’s a feat
I learned something today. No way in hell do I ever want Derrick Gragg as the AD at CU.
(FS) Tulsa: Philip Montgomery will return for a fifth season in 2019. “Coach is a good man,” AD Derrick Gragg told the Tulsa World. “He runs a clean program. He’s a player’s coach. They play hard for him. They haven’t quit.” Tulsa went 3-9 in 2018 and is 5-19 overall after going 10-3 in 2016.

Not Niumatalolo?Tech should be calling Satterfield and trying to lock him down quickly.
Not Niumatalolo?
It should be interesting to see if GT sticks with a "system coach" or tries to wade into the fray with a more convention coach.
