2018 College Football News

With 11min left in that game we were still up 21 points...

I have never seen a football player as mad as I saw Scotty McKnight leaving the field that day.

That team had absolutely no business not going to a bowl game. The north division was turrrrrible then

Amazing how far KU fell so fast when they got rid of Mangino. Big 12 rep in top bowl, followed by top 25 start to a season that went south, followed by a complete collapse with nothing to suggest things are about to improve.

I know for sure one was against Texas.:ROFLMAO:
Yeah, forgot to mention that, was thinking that and misthought while I pounded this out in a parking lot. Thx for the stats.
Did CU win only 4 conf games in a 4-5 year stretch? I think yes, just don't have hard data right now.

Their best shot a road victory may be next year against Coastal Carolina.

Yes, a P5 team is traveling to play a FCS team on the road.

Thought I read somewhere a CU fan calculated the time and game conditions and figured had we taken a knee on every play in the 4th quarter and averaged what we had been for punting, we would have won that game. But instead, the Fraud wanted his kid to have a record (which didn't last), and it cost him his career.

Too stupid to be a head coach.

Only time I can recall it having a noticeable affect, was Shannon Sharpe vs Derrick Thomas in a playoff game. Thomas was so flustered that he took 3, if memory serves, off sides penalties in a row.

Actually they weren't offsides penalties. Thomas was so mad that he kept firing out and trying to tear Shannon's head off by the face mask. He got three personal foul penalties on the drive (45 yards) and finally had to be benched.

He was so upset that when he went back in the next drive they pulled him out again right away to keep him from repeating.

That's right. Won the game for us.

This Monday night game.
After the game, Sharpe was matter of fact about his ability to irritate: "I have perfected the talent to make people upset. Trust me. I know what to say to get to anybody."
And after Thomas' suspension, Sharpe was just as ruthless: "Not many guys can trash-talk a guy into getting suspended by his own team," he said. "It was my finest moment."

Wow. These are the things that make college coaches jump to the nfl lol. I always think to myself why would you go take a job with a ****ty fransice when you are getting paid well in a great college town but it makes sense when you see things like that.
