when I watched the dline in 2016 they were explosive. The dline in 2017 was just bad. A lot of people are saying that the 2018 dline should be improved over the 2017 dline but not as good as the 2016 dline.

Actually tho I'm stoked on Lang. He seems like a physical monster, excited to see him get after the qb. The biggest difference this year is depth at pass rusher. Getting Falo back is great as well. Hamilton is someone to be excited about to. Combine that with some solid defensive line prospects coming in, I recall people suggesting Antwine could start on the edge too. This defense is far more athletic than last years and I think will surprise. For me the biggest question mark is Eliot. Can anyone shed light on his positive aspects? Last season it seemed like we had poor coaching (missed tackles, no turnovers, few sacks and a low intensity pass rush)

Did you hear something positive on Hamilton? He struggled a lot last year and I think he was hurt. I didn't hear anything about him in the spring. Good athlete, though.

I haven't heard a ton minus some footnotes that talked up his athleticism. I just think purely from a pass rushing stand point he is a good prospect. Tossed up 10 sacks at the academy so hopefully he can be a nice situational guy.

Think it all depends on the work that Wilson and Drake can do with the Dline and the motivation of the guys to work this summer. If they can bring play at NT up to par, we could be miles better.

Not to be a dick, but I think you're confused. There's literally been nothing but silence regarding Hamilton.

Perhaps you are thinking of the Broadway play?

I bet their were way more 4th down attempts against Buffs.
Just for fun, I double checked. Your assumption could be rational, but it doesn't appear to hold up.

The left side is the Buffs attempts, the right side is our opponents.

CU had the least attempts against them of any team in the top 6 in limiting conversions. My take? Teams didn't need to go for it on 4th down as often because of how bad our defense was and yet we somehow came up with the right calls and/or effort when they did.

I'm not sure that is actually a positive, but that's my read on it.

Tchangam looks like a beast in that short video = will required to be double teamed

Nope not confused, I believe in the spring game notes is when he was mentioned, but again nothing major. Check out Rivals or buffzone. Imo Hamilton and Tchangam could make some great situational pass rushers.

Good research. The correct response, however, would have been "Do you know how percentages work?"

I have heard next to nothing on Hamilton. In fact, he may have been passed by Wells.

Tchangam will get a chance in August to earn some playing time, but Hamilton is running behind right now.

What's the deal with Hamilton? Is it a talent issue, injury, having trouble adding weight, adjusting to this level of football, all of those maybe?

I'm seriously intrigued with Tchangam. At 6'2" 250 lbs, he has prototypical size for that 3-4 OLB position and seems to be highly motivated to work. Time will tell, though.

Wells >>> Hamilton in spring from what I saw. Consistently better IMO

I wonder if he will be ready to go to make a true impact at any point in 2018. Really wish he had been here this Spring.

Definitely has the size. Not quite sure I see the explosiveness, but hope I am wrong. He needs to be a hit for the coaches.

Someone to watch, has great size and he did play competitively in juco. Definitely not an impact player but it's nice to see more depth at pass rusher. I wish Sparco would've hung around too
