2020 CU football season POSTPONED until Nov 6th?

How would one do that? I guess, go to church, a Trump rally, Sturgis, eat in a restaurant and stay away from pot shops, liquor stores, WalMart and protests.

Well I got stoned during the display of excellent offensively football yesterday night on espn so I think I'm probably safe from COVID for a few days!

P12 solution: 5+1 division only schedule starting on 11/14. Winners play CCG on 12/19 with hopes of getting CFP decision on 12/20.

All non-division winners get one cross-over game on 12/17 or 18. That’s six games for everybody.

No bye weeks. You stumble because of covid, you forfeit.

11/14 start gives daily testing, better tracing, more info on myo, data on community spread and experience of other conferences/pro leagues.

Time is an asset as Sankey days.

That tells me the Pac 12 doesn't think the Big 10 has the support needed to go next month.

I’d rather just play ten at the same time as the big 10 and then do the rose bowl and 1 cross over game with them at the end after championship games.

I see it as P12 thinking Big Ten does have the support to start next month and can’t be left out.

I think the political angle out here is being overplayed now with with the Pac 12 having the Quidel deal in place. This is a wait to see what the Big 10 does and then try and match that as best we possibly can.

The data on daily antigen testing with quick turnaround are very good for virus suppression.

There is no reason for P12 to announce anything yet. The wheels are in motion independent of Big Ten decision on my opinion.

There is time for a truncated fall season.

Numerous reports on 8 games in 9 weeks.
Yeah that’s fine, but it’s only for playoff consideration which I think will sort of go out the window as they put a plan together. I think you will see pushback from the presidents about rushing back especially with some programs shut down at the moment because of cases. I also think you might see a push back in the playoff because of cancellations of games already and more to come. So the rushed timeline won’t be as important.

You think CCGs will be delayed, if needed, beyond 12.19?

I’m not saying Big Ten is done deal. It’s likely tense. I don’t see how a school like MSU or Northwestern can vote yes at this time.

If they are looking for a unanimous decision and all align, I’m not sure they get there either way.

I just think timelines will be pushed and lots of hiccups.

Daily testing should allow play every week unless the team has a huge, rapid outbreak and can’t meet 53 player minimum. I don’t see that happening with daily testing though.

To me It still doesn’t feel like we are at home in the PAC-12
