2020 Rocky Mountain Showdown (CANCELED) at Canvas Stadium

Accommodate like 30% of the athletes not playing. I’m sure NFL teams want a full look on those guys as well
The NFL is on their own time tables for league year starts, combine, draft, rookie OTA, teams OTAs, and training camp. If players want to play in the NFL, they’ll need to get on the NFL’s program - not the other way around.

I'm sure they want it, but making decisions based on limited information is part of the deal. Every year I read about a number of highly projected draft picks who skip the combine workouts, yet teams are still able to make an educated risk-based projection of where those players should be drafted.

Yeah, I can't see how it helps the NFL to have a draft when most CFB players haven't been in a game for more than a year. Of course, if there's no spring CFB season, then it won't make a difference when they hold the draft.

I disagree. I'm sure the scouts think game film is more important than pro day/combine workouts. The teams will want a draft only after meaningful games have been played--not to say any games are guaranteed, even in the spring.

The reason why these top guys are opting out now and getting their combine prep on now is because the NFL isn’t moving their stuff to accommodate college. For next year’s NFL rookies who try to play in the spring, that’ll be a lot of games in a short span.

Very true. 10 game college football season in the spring. Four to five pre-season games in the NFL. 16 regular season NFL games. Two to three NFL playoff games. One Super Bowl.

33-35 games. Those kids aren't dumb.

The hits keep coming. Allegedly covering up for donors groping food servers

Situations like this I tend to believe that the woman has a legitimate complaint. These are the kinds of things that women tend not to forget or be confused about and the negative consequences of coming out with it are enough that coming forward isn't something that is easily or casually done.

If she did in fact report the abusive behavior multiple times and no action was taken against her (other than being demoted) then I would think that her complaints had merit.

In this day and age a responsible business that doesn't have a cultural problem does not allow a situation like this to extend past the first complaint. They investigate and make changes based on the investigation. If the accusations are found to not be credible they at a minimum remove the accuser from the situation.

Our lawyers on the board may see it differently but I don't see how you don't give a serious listen to and respond to the complaints immediately.

North Dakota State (assuming RG doesn't replace them for UNC or some other random FCS team we can beat the hell out of) will be a tougher game in 2024 than CSU. Calling it now.
The NDSU game might be tougher than the game in Lincoln.

The NDSU game is the dumbest scheduling move RG has made.

I would agree, and I don't think it gets played. They'll either get a close to a million to go a few hundred miles to their south to beat a hapless Big 10 team this board despises, or RG will come to his senses and bring in somebody we can beat by 50.

**** you Mike Best, you gigantic piece of ****! Was the worst teacher I ever had and an enormous tool. This doesn't surprise me in the least. He was just a miserable piece of **** in 10th grade and I hope this woman takes him, his wife and that whole school to the ****ing cleaners. Mike Best is a **** **** that miserable aggressive, condescending bastard.

No need to hold back here, tell us how you really feel about him. ;)

As I said until I have reason to do otherwise I tend to believe the woman in things like this. Suzy trying to use her name and money they have donated to make this thing go away just adds to my sense that the accusations have merit.

Nothing like a little 10th grade angst.

I have spoken to Susie a couple of times. She is a nice person in my book. Mike was there, but I don't remember talking to him.

Got yourself a little Falwell Jr. setup going there? Good for you!
LOL, no, nothing like that...I am the farthest thing from a desirable pool boy.

I have spent maybe 15-20 minutes of my life talking to her, and she struck me as a nice person, that's all.
