Yep, and what are the chances guys won't get hurt to make that depth even less? I'd say slim to none over a full season. What they do then, they probably have to put guys out there that aren't ready yet or never will be. That's not a good position to be in.
BYU is practically playing a Pac 12 schedule.

I’d love to see CU vs BYU in home/home series.
When did BYU join the P12?
1. BYU makes so much geographic sense for the Pac12 (and vice versa), this should be no surprise
2. SEC, ACC and B1G already count BYU as a P5 for purposes of their scheduling constraints, This schedule raises the question if the Pac 12 will follow suit.
3. I road tripped to Provo a few years ago for the Wisconsin game -- it was one of the most fun roadies I've ever taken and the game day experience was fantastic. I realize there are other (religious) motivations, but I've never been treated so well as a visiting fan ever. if/when CU plays at BYU, I would definitely consider doing that trip again.

Unfortunately, BYU isn’t going to increase revenue for the pac 12.
revenue? agree -- probably not as a Pac 12 member. as an OOC rival, they may provide the most profit of any practical option.

Totally disagree here. Every Morman in the visiting cities will be at the game plus the additional TV audience from around the country. Adding BYU to the Pac-12 is a no brainer if not for the built in prejudice against Mormons.
False. If they were that big of a pull they would be making a lot more money from espn than they are now with their independent deal. The Mormon/National pull thing is completely overrated. Add in the fact that they are in a market the pac 12 already has and they would be a net negative on cash flows to each school.
I disagree. The BYU schedule has been so pathetic it hasn’t been much of a draw. This year’s schedule with the Pac-12 will tell the tale. My guess is that, those games do far better than a typical OOC game in both ratings and attendance.
