Call wasn't on the layup it was on the follow. Ref could have ignored it but the defender did put his elbow and forearm on the chest of the ACU player and visibly push him down and back.

It was an ugly play but it was a foul. Ideally at the end of a game you let the players decide the game but it was a foul that likely influenced the shot.
