He is a winner, no doubt. I know a couple of guys that played for him in Houston and they both say he can make the game too complex.BOB's the guy I expected Nebraska to hire. It would have worried me a lot more than Rhule.
Leonhard would be a solid choice, and a mutually beneficial landing spot.Saban should go with Jim Leonhard at DC. I thought I read after Brady left LSU that he doesn't like to recruit?
They were tied for third in PPG with UGA. Bryce Young missed two games.
I don’t know. 247 recruit and transfer rankings might disagree with you nYeah. I don't think they're any better positioned than Iowa State as a program these days.
Agreed, but I am genuinely curious about people’s expectations for Rhule, not how Nebraska fans perceive their program. Would you really be surprised if he got them to 6 wins in year one, 7-8 wins in year two and 9 wins in year three, only to fall back to 6-7 wins in years four and five?
If I'm looking at them objectively (I'm not-I'm going to hammer their under AGAIN), I wouldn't pick anything better than 4-8. That's what they've been for the last few years, and they haven't undergone the kind of roster transformation we have here.Agreed, but I am genuinely curious about people’s expectations for Rhule, not how Nebraska fans perceive their program. That's kind of my point. He was viewed as the best HC candidate out there where people said he could be picky and wait for a blue blood to open up, and I'm honestly just not sure if that was accurate. He is a proven builder at both the G5 and P5 level, but he left each place as soon as he was entering the "sustain success" stage. Had Mike MacIntyre jumped to the NFL after 2016, I think many people would have viewed him in a similar light, but he stayed and everyone saw that he wasn't a guy who could sustain any success. He had similar progressions at Temple and Baylor and hate to say it but I expect him to have success at Nebraska. I guess I wouldn't be surprised if he had a regression from 9-10 wins back to 6 or 7 in year 3 or 4, but I also wouldn't expect them to bounce back. We don't know if he can sustain that level of high success since he didn't stay at either place long enough.
Edit: you are right. They tied for fourth. Clearly unimpressive.Oh, I was almost certain they weren't top 3 in any category. That was looking through ESPN.
You were wrong.
you really should offer to wager on itIt shows them tied for 4th, if you are referring to the image in your post.
I like that approach. That's me for every game in the Prime era. We have a lot of years of suck to make up for.Alabama fans would be upset if they won every game but some were still competitive in the 4th quarter.
I stand corrected. Tied for 4th.It shows them tied for 4th, if you are referring to the image in your post.
Maybe Mario Cristobal is the problem?
Looks like Gattis got the credit at Michigan when it was really Sherrone Moore who should've got it.
He sure as hell didn't at Miami.Or maybe Gattis did a great job at Michigan.

My mistake, for some reason I thought Moore and Gattis were co- offensive coordinators which is why I thought there might be a possibility that the wrong person received the credit. Not sure why you try and connect that to Michigan.
STOP THE PRESSES!
Walters the HC at PurdueWalters is going to make some noise...don't know much about the rest of his staff but this is a good addition.
my bad don't know why I thought he got the Ill. jobWalters the HC at Purdue
If it makes you feel better, Walters raided the Illini for a good portion of their defensive staff. It says a lot about him, that they chose to follow him to Purdue than stay at Illinois.my bad don't know why I thought he got the Ill. job
