I'd forgot Holloway played at Seton Hall too.
Every time I hear an interview with Ethan, the voice surprises me. Not at all what I would expect him to sound like.

There are a whole lot of complete trash/POS Buff “fans” who treat LL horribly during games at the CEC. It is rage inducing. Sad to see those assholes have the nerve to say something outside of that too. **** them.

from the beginning, Tad has emphasized LL's potential. He should be 20% better next year. And, he doesn't have the physical strength he'd like to have, which I think shows in his hesitancy when shooting. If he could put on 25 good pounds, he'd be a horse.

I guarantee that he doesn't need to add one ounce of muscle to his body to get the average fan off of his ass. If he improves his hand strength and spends all summer with someone hitting him with a stick every time he lowers the ball below his shoulders, it will end 90% of the complaints about his play.
If we had our guards practice passing the ball into the post in a manner that didn't hit players in the shin, that'd be a nice bonus too.

Exactly, **** them. I like the improvement I've seen so far from him. You can tell he's been working hard on quite a few things. You've been watching, I'm sure you know what I'm talking about. Those same ones that are so quick to criticize will be the same ones to be praising you when you're balling, mark anybody's word. LL just needs to keep doing what he's doing, **** the outside noise. It's just harder to do when losers bring it to you.

To me, very honestly, I loved to see Donnie Boyce rule our team live…and that was my major highlight during that era. I was devestated when he went down. I was equally excited when Chauncey joined the crew…saw him play at GW bec I, at the time, was living next door, and he was amazing in high school. Sooo…NIT was pleasantly good, w the Chauncey NCAA one game run amazing. I love this era, no matter how badly we disappointed this yr…sure I would’ve loved Allen to be for real (still think he’s by far much more interesting to watch compared to what we put on the floor), but we did have bad luck this yr. Let’s embrace and enjoy. Maybe Nique will bloom…who knows??This year was a disappointment, and we still got a 3 seed in the NIT. When I was at CU, the hoops team was so pathetic that the very thought of a NIT invite was considered ridiculous. So sure, let’s get rid of the one guy who was able to elevate the program from the the depths of generational mediocrity. Great idea.

He's getting more rebounds.
He's scoring more.
He's blocking more shots while fouling less.
He's looking so much more comfortable with FTs.
He also looks significantly thicker to me.
The guy is putting in the work off the court, plays his ass off on the court, and is on a trajectory with his game that will make him a force next season.

Hammond's back to back post entries near the end of yesterday's games almost killed me.

I mean, if people didn't notice the 8 million times that Seton Hall's guards couldn't get to the rim or had to shoot a floater, then they likely aren't noticing the other pieces
Lawson Lovering is so good at altering shots. It's so nice watching other teams have to deal with it.
3/4 of the rebounds Clifford gets every game come from LL working against 2 dudes and tapping it out of the paint. Just sayin'.
I didn't get into all the LL stuff that contributes to winning but doesn't show up in the box score. Screens, boxouts, tipped balls, deflections, altered shots, communication & orchestrating teammates - lots of stuff the avg fan may miss (and that's ok), but there's a lot that goes into him being a damn good player for us.

I noticed that about LL last night, he looks bigger. Even a little more weight wouldn't hurt him. Get where you're are comfortable and work on everything else. I like he's being more aggressive to the basket. Stop all the pump fake bull**** and go up strong, the other stuff will come.
My son and I were discussing going down for the game if the Lobos win tonight. Then we simultaneous realized it's ABQ and killed that idea immediately.
Advancing for this team has much less to do with who the next opponent is than which Buffs team shows up.
If we get a full game on defense, if we see a team that plays the offense that Tad has coached them instead of running around passing up good shots for bad, if we play smart not giving up unforced turnovers and not taking unnecessary fouls, then we can and should beat either of these teams.
If we get a lot of hero ball shooting poor percentage and turning the ball over then either team can beat us and beat us badly.
We pretty much suck at road games.
We have had a few home games this year that we didn't show up for as well.
We also have a few road games that we showed up for well.
You are right that home court is a much more likely win but I'll stick with the statement. Matters much more which CU team shows up against either potential opponent.
