* couldn't
I think I posted early on that we were going to sh!t the bed because MBB doesn't know how to do the transfer thing. And again, it doesn't help that RG could care less about hoops.

I can’t find the exact quote but several years back Tad said he wouldn’t add grad transfers because they’re not serious students who are actually interested in the grad programs and are only going to schools to play basketball. I’d say Tad not knowing how to do the transfer thing is a severe understatement.I think I posted early on that we were going to sh!t the bed because MBB doesn't know how to do the transfer thing. That sounds made up. We had two (disappointing) grad transfers this last year. We’ve had several successful transfers, Derrick White probably being the best of them. The transfer game is a whole new world the last 3 years with the rules changing and the bonus Covid year though.I can’t find the exact quote but several years back Tad said he wouldn’t add grad transfers because they’re not serious students who are actually interested in the grad programs and are only going to schools to play basketball. “But a lot of these graduate transfers really have no interest in graduate school, and you’re renting a player for six months in the guise of getting a graduate degree. That’s not what we’re about.”
I stand corrected, but you way oversold it, and conveniently left off the first sentence of the quote:Buffs’ Tad Boyle exploring all options for open scholarship
With the quest to fill the open roster spot now in full swing for University of Colorado men’s basketball coach Tad Boyle, the Buffaloes’ leader maintains that all options are on the ta…www.buffzone.com
I’m pretty sure Tad has realized that the world and his own mgmt have changed course on that. That was a Phil D philosophy until he got bitch slapped by the fan base.I stand corrected, but you way oversold it, and conveniently left off the first sentence of the quote:
"If he’s a legitimate student who really wants to get a graduate degree and wants to play basketball, absolutely we’re going to look at him."
The transfer world has also radically changed since 2018 when that quote is from.
So you don’t eat corn eather?Don’t care. **** them. **** that state. I want them all to be miserable.
So you don’t eat corn eather?
Viva Waldo!I specifically drink cane sugar sodas instead of corn syrup ones. Die fusker die!
We couldn’t afford the UNC (Greeley) guy who got there via a JUCO via Thornton. The market does speak. Wow.Given our NIL situation, he's probably our best option.
The transfer portal sites have Knecht 100% going to Oregon. The NIL has removed the amateur aspect from college sports. Hope we can get McMillian or RJ Luis now. Otherwise we better pray Ruffin gets and stays healthy. We couldn’t afford the UNC (Greeley) guy who got there via a JUCO via Thornton. The market does speak. Wow.
Luis, pleeeaassee. Not convinced on McMillian. The transfer portal sites have Knecht 100% going to Oregon. The NIL has removed the amateur aspect from college sports. Hope we can get McMillian or RJ Luis now. Otherwise we better pray Ruffin gets and stays healthy.
My preference too, I like his size, but what do we know. "McMillian has already visited Utah and he is also considering interest from Illinois, Texas Tech and Virginia". Luis has interest too from high majors.Luis, pleeeaassee. Not convinced on McMillian.
Luis can't shoot the 3, FWIW.Luis, pleeeaassee. Not convinced on McMillian.
I'm not convinced McMillian is ready for the big time. FWIW a GCU team manager I know isn't either.Luis can't shoot the 3, FWIW.
He did against us.Luis can't shoot the 3, FWIW.
He shoots it fine. He would've been tied for third on our team last year. He's also boards, plays D and is a matchup problem for opponents.Luis can't shoot the 3, FWIW.
Third on our team last year was not a good showingHe shoots it fine. He would've been tied for third on our team last year. He's also boards, plays D and is a matchup problem for opponents.
He made 16 threes all season...I like him as a player, but he doesn't really offer what we need right now.He shoots it fine. He would've been tied for third on our team last year. He's also boards, plays D and is a matchup problem for opponents.
Family over Funds, perhaps? This will be another NIL battle. I don't think there's a chance here. HOWEVER, do what it takes scholarship wise to make it happen if it's even a remote possibility. Hard to think of a better fit
Is that like Bros before Hos?Family over Funds, perhaps?
