2024 Colorado Football Schedule & Future Schedules

Per game price is also going up but I haven't heard by how much
My theory was say you earn $12,000,000 from 6 games and that fits your budget, then you get 7 games in a season, so now the extra game is a plus or gravy. Of course a season ticket will cost more cause you are buying another game, but the per ticket does not have to go up to bring in more money, in theory $14,000,000. If per game pricing goes up, its because obviously you CAN raise prices, and its cause RG has a fat big extension raise to pay for

There is obviously profit for a 7th home game just like there is for home games 1-6, but CU still has to pay for all the overhead of putting on a 7th home game, so no, the extra game is not just "a plus or gravy". It's standard more games = higher price.

As for the per ticket price increases, yes, that is going up because they have a house settlement to pay for, they have $22m of NIL coming in house to pay for, and they have a HC contract extension and assistant coach/support staff salary pool to pay for.

Demand is high enough that it's very easy to absorb the price increase by just going to 6 home games instead of 7 (normal slate of home games) and sell your tix for 1 game at a price that more than covers your increase for the other 6 games.

There was also wording about MORE Season Tickets to be offered, and they are having upwards pressure from Students, so less single tickets seems obvious, and 1 student ticket has to be fully offset by a Season ticket because of the price disparity, correct?

I was wondering where the extra season ticket inventory is coming from. Are they eliminating 1 or more if the student sections?

No. They don't offer the entire stadium for season tickets, they reserve some for single game tickets, often at a premium. CU will offer fewer single game tickets next year.
With the demand for season tickets so high, they might as well create more of them so they don't have as much work to do selling single game tickets to sell out.

Have they confirmed with Ralphie that she is willing to trot around a 7th time?
I just think she cannot stay up after 8:00pm, she is a baby and she said no those late games. She ran really hard against Utah when it was the middle of the day.
One thing about here and a Stadium remodel would be to consider some kind of underground Pen under the seating in the Northwest corner. Being stuck in a trailer seems so yucky. I guess I have always wondered where does she go during the first half? Does she go over to Prentup or to another area to get ready for the second half? Does she really need to run in the second half?

It's the exact opposite, actually. When demand is high and you know you'll sell the ticket either way you want to limit ST sales to the bare minimum. I think there are plenty of clubs here who would love to get rid of STs altogether and STs that are given up are usually redistributed as single game tickets and not as STs. You want as many separate people as possible to attend games as new visitors are more likely to spend money on merchandise etc. plus you need to be careful not to let the fanbase in the stadium get too old and it needs to remain accessible to everyone, including new fans.

STs guarantee the ticket is sold and give you a certain security with your planning plus you get the money immediately for a service that will be provided in the future so it's essentially an interest free loan, but from what I can tell the other factors seem to outweigh them.

it looks like the XII released the 2024 schedule on Jan 30. that's around the same time the ACC released theirs as well.

the B1G is releasing their schedule today at 12PM MT.
