2025-2027 are showing just 7 conference games. It appears to be short 2 games each year.

I only poked around on this to make sure my a$$ is ready for a road trip for a half marathon next year.

With GT going to be coming off a good season and our Buffs coming off a good-to-great one, next year's opener is going to be a national event - 35th anniversary of us splitting a national championship.

That's going to be an expensive ticket if you don't have season tix.

So awesome having 7 home games next season, and 5 of them are pretty good except the 2 bodybag games early

Nik, we have 7 home games, which is very valuable, BUT.....

What if Jerry Jones and some big sponsors asked us to move that game to Dallas for a super special primetime kickoff game and paid us more than we would make on a home game?

I would say no, but, could see someone asking us if we wanted to do it.

If, say, both next year's game and the 2026 game at GT were bought by Jerryworld or some other neutral site, I think both schools would do it. Particularly if it was a Florida site since that is key to both our recruiting.

True, my point was whether or not that is worth it to the brand versus wanting our home crowd to get extra testy with GT

2026 could be in Mercedes Benz dome in Atlanta

It's unlikely that game would be moved to Mercedes Benz because it is scheduled for Sept 5th which is Labor Day weekend, and that's when they play the Aflac kickoff game.

We are the Big12's only really valuable property, so we are going to get a lot of special treatment. I am starting to buy into the idea of joining the SEC because there is a ton of discussion about the SEC having another broadcast window that would add value to there deal, but that would mean we would play a lot of 8:00pm games, but would it be worth it?

Love the optimism, but can we make the playoff first?

I am really beginning to buy into a 48 team top CFB League that is SEC + B1G
It will happen, 48 is the perfect inventory number for the networks, and there are only about that many good programs.
If the SEC wants to be the best it can be, it needs to have all time zones and/or markets to have all game slots covered.
Friday nights, Saturday nights need inventory
I do not like the SEC or B1G, but we have to be one of the Top 48 and I just see it that way

SEC needs 8 and the B1G needs 6. SEC for the southern states with the B1G for the northern and western states.

FSU, Miami, GT, Clemson, UNC, NC State, UVA & VT would make sense for SEC.

Notre Dame, Cal, Furd, Utah, CU and ASU would make sense for the B1G.

With that, if you did Divisions like the NFL with each conference having 4 divisions of 6 teams, the schedules would set up nicely. 5 games against your division, 5 games against 1 team from each of the other 5 divisions, 2 open slots on the schedule to play teams from the other conference.

That is what a TV Expert came up with for optimum number of team, games, time slots, revenue
Got to think about how to spread it out into timeslots, including Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and who knows if it makes sense to get into Monday-Wednesday
