Can't view it but love how r/CFB (and reddit in general) auto removes posts from a new account...guess those idiots can keep claiming CU & BSU played equivalent schedules & what Hunter did isn't great/elite.
On the schedule: the CSU team that the Buffs annihilated and Texas did unspeakable things to was the 3rd best team in the MWC this year... and Boise State didn't even have to play them.

I am occasionally active on the online CU hater posts on facebook and instagram. I make strategic strikes which promote many enraged responses, mostly from white people. (Full disclosure: I'm white.) It's fun. I think Jeanty would be deserving of a Heisman in many other seasons (he's an absolute beast), but not this season. Travis is a truly generational player who has accomplished things that are unprecedented. He'll win the Heisman. Suck it, haters.
Jeanty won't win for the same reason we're not talking about Bryson Daily.

25 rushing TDs (Jeanty has 28), plus another 8 passing with only 1 INT. Gives him a higher quarterback rating than Ward, Sanders or Dart.
Team is 10-1, playing in the AAC championship (a much better conference than the MWC).
But he plays for a fvcking G5!

I think most of the hype is coming from current and former pros. When they're on tv in the booth or on a studio show or they're on their social or doing an interview - people rightfully listen when they say that Travis is doing something that no one has ever done and almost no one could have done. That's a standard that blows out of the water a really great season of stats similar to many other seasons that players have had.
Everytime I ask someone to pull the average FPI or any advanced metric ranking for CU and Boise no one ever seems to be able to equate the schedules being anywhere near equivalent.
ESPN FPI does for some reason but makes no sense against the FPI or efficiency rankings.
I will never understand the love Ann Arbor gets. It’s an ok town, but really nothing all that special. Maybe because most towns in the Midwest are depressing, gray, cold and uninteresting Ann Arbor seems magnificent because it’s only mildly depressing, but still gray, cold and uninteresting.

When CU had it's bye week I believe it was Big Noon when Hunter was on the show and had his own little special on the show. That assuredly was setup through the SID and I'm sure orchestrated by Prime. But Boise St. has made ZERO type of such efforts to put Jeanty front and center ... or at least I'm not aware of any on a national basis. And I think those type of national efforts reverberate as you indicated with other pros/former pros and other talking heads and then the hype machine starts feeding itself.
Or they made some efforts and got rebuffed. Even without CP Colorado as a Big 12 member is a bigger draw than ****ing Boise.
