Correct. It is official novation of the agreement between player and current school beyond finishing the current semester academically.

There's an outside chance we have one of the best groups of cornerbacks next year, and perhaps the best QB.

Beyond that, I think we can't really get to any top 10 position groups yet.

If McCaskill is his old self, with help from the line and new system, we could still have a damn good RB room.

For sure. I was mostly commenting on how it must be nice to be a program that can replace these kids with relative ease. To your point, we are currently relying on a few blue chip guys, while those programs are recruiting over some of those blue chip guys. Can you imagine the meltdown if Cormani, Travis, or Shedeur entered the portal?

Most of the teams in the bowl games, at least the first half of them don't have many players who project to the draft or to helping a P5 program win.

The bowls that will see the biggest impact are the top ones not included in the playoff, the NY6 games and next level.

There isn't enough money to go around for all of these guys. They'll negotiate and likely settle for less.
