2024 Transfer Portal News - Please Respect My Decision

Yes please

3 to play 2, but I'm assuming you get him for a year before he enters the draft. Either way, a versatile pass rusher along the line has a ton of value.

He had a weird recruitment out of HS. He was a top 200 prospect out of Bryan, but his offer list was really soft. Purdue, UTSA, SMU, CSU, Louisiana and a few others. Purdue got a good one, too bad for Walters that he's moving on.

A little off-topic but a question on sack and TFL stats: Are sacks considered a subset of TFL, or are they additive? Meaning, did this Perdue guy have 15 TFL, of which 10 were sacks? Or 15 TFL and 10 sacks for a total of 25 tackles behind the line (of which 10 were of the QB and 15 were of other players)?

Believe they are different stats

They only count as one stat (kinda like a HR is also a Triple, but only counts as a home run). While a sack is a TFL, the stat line you’re representing is for 25 TFL’s

Which makes it that much more amazing that no one who transferred in last year with Prime has hit the portal yet.
Yeah, he has done an amazing job of retaining the guys he brought in. I think part of that is due to the perception that most positions are up for grabs, but I have to think we'll start seeing some attrition soon. Or maybe it won't happen until after Spring.

There are no transfer limitations until otherwise stated. It's a free for all now.

Nope. Immediate eligibility next year for anyone
If someone transfers while this rule has been struck down by that judge, if his ruling is reversed, will those players still be eligible to play next year after a second transfer no matter what? Or could this bite these players in the ass and their eligibility could be revoked if a judge reverses the original decision to allow multiple transfers

I guess theoretically possible, but good ****in luck NCAA. Lawyers will feast.
