2025 MBB Recruit Profile Index

Odih has Sept CU visit scheduled.

Also, CU watching Quentin Rhimes, another high-octane offensive player that can play 3- like Rencher, Holland & Ian Inman.

Love that Bynum & Odih visiting same day on 9/20, as they are similarly long, tough & great 5-Out Wings. Odih @3 more athletic; Bynum @4 more skilled.

Buffs continue to need at least 1 PtG in Sanders (Muldrew true Pt/ComboG, but Odih could play some on-ball too) & at least 1 Big (Need 1 of Tee, Jefferson or maybe Leverett). SG Jalin Holland was scheduled to visit on same day as Sanders-8/28?- but Jalin seems to be falling off radar? Courtland Muldrew falling off too?

Interesting how deeply they're going for Elite 2/3 Wings: Odih, Rencher, Inman, Rhymes. Odih elite D & athleticism; Rencher complete O game; Inman & Rhymes w/ some elite open-court scoring & jump shots- though both guys just recently blowing-up-so seems early in both their heavy recruitment time.

Love Bynum rising for CU, even if Nwuli falling. But curious if CU even gets BigWing at 4 Spot in '25 w/ 5th Open Spot? Michael Simcoe's 3Pt & Motor w/ decent D&Rbding still seem like most likely (he's staying under-valued & under-recruited in Top-150 range). Anthony LJ Andrews good low-post scoring & stretch-ability at 6'7, if don't get 1 of 3 bigs above? 6'7 G/PF Aidan Disu even further under the radar, but feels like great position-less Tad-Ball Fit as bigger/stronger Hadley-type?

Tad & Co known for going hard after their very few top targets (with daily/ almost daily contact), and w/ summer ball over-seems like time that Elite Relationship Building will kick into high-gear? Gotta say D & Toughness Focus of '25 recruits seems like good balance w/ elite-O of early '26 targets: Tajh Ariza, Gavin Placide, Bo Ogden, Katrelle Harmon, & maybe Jeremiah Hammond? '26's Davion Adkins and Cameron Holmes seem to be dropping off radar, before they got fully on radar.

9/11/24 non-football game week, Wednesday mid-week visit by Grady? But love his elite tough shot-making & size at 6'7 200. Great fit with Buffs other Top-7 (now 8): Pt Sanders; Bigs Bartlett & Parker Jefferson; Wing Odih; Big Wing Bynum; Other shooter/scorers (w/ Grady, all more 2s than 3s?): Jalin Holland & Ian Inman?

Still love: PF's BigW Michael Simcoe'/ Elite Post Players LJ Andrews & DJ Hall?
Positionless2-4 Spots: Kash Polk/Aiden Disu/O'Marion Harvey/Xavior Wilson?
Depth of '25 PtGs & Bigs seems little thinner right now?

Need PtG Sanders & Big Bartlett or Jefferson. But deep wings: Odih D Beast who's been playing PtG & looks like 1-3 Spot Tad guy; More hopeful on Bynum who is pushing 6'9 w/ 6'11 length(?) & elite O game for Big Wing; Holland more Big SG w/ elite shot & improving D; Inman 2-Way G/W who excels in transition; but Winters Grady may have most advanced O game of all of them: elite spot-up shooter, plays through contact (like Odih & Sanders), elite pull-up/mid-range separates him.

Ian Inman visiting same time as Winters Grady; Udih & Jalin same visit time; & Odih & Bynum same visit time. Need Muldrew & Batlett to visit next? Or Jefferson?
MEANT: Josiah Sanders & Jalin Holland visit at same time.

On3 Reporting Buffs in w/ Kayden Buggs Edwards: Smaller/quick ComboG w/ Elite Shooting & scoring, but great D, leadership, & Team-1st winner qualities too! 247 Sports Article from last summer ('23) said Buffs coaches were watching him play. But only 2 reports I find? Love Buggs, as Muldrew seems dropping off for us? Oklahoma St & TCU seem to be in deepest, but says he's wide open & scheduling a lot of visits.

PtG’s BuggEdwards & CourtMuldrew seem like stretches, but Feel’n Good Buffs get:
1) PtG Sanders
2) PtG/W Odih
3) 1-2 2-way shooters: Grady/Inman/Holland

4) 3/4 BigW Bynum maybe still stretch?
5) Bigs Bartlett or Jefferson also stretches?

6) Afraid we fall-back on D-first Bigs Leverett/Kalala/6’7 IsaiahCarter? Or transfer?

But Chance for Elite 5-Man class?:
PtG: Elite Big/Strong Sanders!
SG: 6’7s Grady’s Tough Shot Making or Inman’s Elite Open-Court Scorer/shooter?
SF:Odih Guards 1-4, including fight Kossaras & Crawford for back-up PtG duties?
BigW@4 If not Bynum, could survive w/ Rancik & Diop there?
Big@5: All quiet on 270 pound Tee Bartlett Front (except Providence & Miami interest), but Parker Jefferson at 6’10 240 w/ better offensive perimeter game & elite team-1st?

Oops, sorry on duplicate above! From On3:
Kelvin Odih, a four-star shooting guard in the 2025 class, has narrowed his list of offers down to six. Moving forward, the 6-foot-4 rising senior out of South Kent School (CT) will consider Creighton, Colorado, Louisville, Oklahoma State, Rutgers, and West Virginia.

Odih has also scheduled the following official visits:
  • West Virginia: Aug 30- Sept 1st
  • Creighton: Sept 13-15th
  • Colorado: Sept 20-22nd
  • Rutgers: Sept 27-29th
  • Louisville: TBD
  • Oklahoma State: TBD
According to On3’s Top-150 Player Rankings, Odih is the No. 53 overall player in the 2025 class. He’s also the No. 12 shooting guard and the No. 3 player in the state of Connecticut.

In addition to his finalists, Odih also received offers from Missouri, LSU, SMU, Texas A&M, Iowa, Penn State, Xavier, Marquette, and others.”

I'm hoping that we sign all PGs this year. Maybe one guy who is more of a wing with primary ball handler potential would be ok. I just want Goose to be happy.

Dad is elite trainer, so not surprising he picked school with elite strength & conditioning program, & elite development! Got the speed at PtG, has scoring chops too, but love that we've got visit from a second quick point guard: Semetri Carr, same day as Big Gs Josiah Sanders & Jalin Holland.

Isiah Johnson's tape below. Lefty averaged 30+ Pts at Section 7 & won Puma Pro16 Championships in Indianapolis at end of July (CU must have seen him those 2 places & at Arizona's Pro16 in July, while following fellow PtGs Kingston Flemings & Kayden Bugg Edwards -& Kelvin Odih- on Puma Circuit). Mostly Mid-major offers, but by all accounts he was on verge of blowing up.

Carr loses points for quoting NBADraft.net. Not that I blame him, but... yeah... no.

Still Love 3 '25 PtGs: TT Carr, Josiah Sanders, & Isaiah Johnson! Need Bynum @4 & Leverett @5? Bigs Bartlett & Jefferson still in front of Leverett? Really LOVE Elite D & On-Ball skills of Odih, but wing interest seems to be dropping off some, including: elite tough shot-maker Grady, Uptempo 2-Way W Inman, & BigG Holland?

Add 6'10 Denver-Guy Dioum to Buffs '26 interest: Tajh Ariza, Bo Ogden, & Gavin Placide? CU interest w/ SG Holmes & PF Adkins at USA camp didn't seem to stick.
