2025 Transfer Portal News & Updates

Coach Prime has a lot of connections in Texas. If he doesn’t want him…there must be a reason.

Johntay be like. 😂

By who? What the fvck kind of illogical, ignorant bullsh!t is that?
Good, two down player. Not nearly athletic enough for what they want and the NFL agrees, otherwise he wouldn't be staying in college for a 6th year. Remember that Helow was with him at Michigan (who didn't care to retain him) and again at CU. Mutual parting of ways as CU looks to upgrade.

I’d be quite surprised if we replaced NHG with someone better (2nd team all-conference LB). NFL grade is irrelevant to college production

Landman wasn't "athletic enough" for the NFL either...

Eye-test and production proves differently

ultimately, at this point, prime, his assistants and the guys in the recruiting support staff have done enough to earn our trust that they largely know what theyre doing and know what theyre looking for also because theyve proven they can play the portal game at an elite level so im really not all that concerned for 2025, but i think that winning the bowl game is more important for us than it is for others so id like to have the strongest team possible available for that one

NHG was an absolute stud for us. Anyone saying we are going to go out and get better... I find it very unlikely. We might find someone faster but he was instinctive and a hard hitter. At best we find a LB that is similar or a blend of 2 LB's to match his production. I don't know what all the complaints about him in pass coverage is. IMO... of the games I watched... the weakest member of the Defense was S.Sanders in both the run and passing game.

NHG was a great player for us and nobody is saying otherwise, but he was, in fact, a two down player who came off in obvious passing situations. His athleticism is objectively limited and he wasn't a guy (neither was Bentley) who they could rely on to cover RBs and TEs. They were both great run stuffing thumpers at the position. Bentley is out of eligibility and NHG has one season left that he wants to maximize his value. Maybe we made an offer to keep him but it wasn't enough? I know for a fact they want to get more athletic at LB. Signing Mantrez Walker and going hard after NOB (who was a Buff before mom and dad said Michigan, btw) in the Freshman class and then going out and getting Hughes in the portal and hopefully Xavier Atkins from LSU. We'll see who else they try to bring in, but there is a distinct theme across all the LBs they are after and it's athletic and fast.

Isn't this dude a legit POS
Depends on your definition of legit. /s
The assault happened early in the morning of Oct. 3. According to an arrest affidavit, Lee was accused of repeatedly punching a man who had helped a woman Lee knew get home after a party, claiming he had seen the man grope and grab her.
The man was left with a fractured skull and internal brain bleeding, according to police.
Lee was a freshman offensive lineman for the Buffaloes at the time. He announced last month that he would enter the transfer portal, meaning he intends to go to another university.
