Remember when Darrel Scott came here and how excited we all were? Well, we just signed half a class of Darrell Scott’s.

Hyperbole for effect, but the fact remains that we would be over the moon with any one of these guys last year. Now we are at the point where a 4* kid signs and many of us don’t even notice.
 
I expect most of the transfer players will be in the 2-deep this fall. I expect quite a few prep recruits in this class will be as well. The prep recruits are harder to predict as they come in with varying degrees of readiness.

The good thing about this (and I fully admit it’s surreal) - is that there’s isn’t ONE 5* prima Dona. Because all these dudes are here, and all the 4*s that want to prove a point, are actually going to compete, focus, and make each other better.

and, top to bottom, all the new coaches are going to work them hard and get the best out of them

Why would you equate being a 5* with being a prima donna?

5* is that the guy's physical traits and abilities along with his football accomplishments mean he's projecting as one of the prospects most likely to be a 1st round pick in the future. On character, if it means anything it's that the guy has put in the work to be great.

I want as many 5* players as possible at CU.
 
Boy, it will really be hard to recruit in Main, Vermont areas this weekend.... talking - 40 for Temps this weekend
