There are a lot worse landing spots.Wish the best for this kid.
Kinda bummed for him that he went from CU to SDSU, but he's obviously Lewis's guy, so hope he tears it up.

Kid was made for that scheme.
Had Prime not been hired and created national expectations, I wouldn’t have minded going all in with a “system” like Lewis’ to see if it could have worked at the P4 level.Kid was made for that scheme.
Now you’re just bogarting the good stuffWill win the Heisman now
Totally disagreeHad Prime not been hired and created national expectations, I wouldn’t have minded going all in with a “system” like Lewis’ to see if it could have worked at the P4 level.
Where do you think CU fell in the P4 hierarchy before Prime? Do you think CU was just a “regular” coaching hire away from competing for the CFP?Totally disagree
Lewis system works for sub-NFL college players
The best of the best would not come to play in that offense, it could win FBS championships, but not CFP
Prime is perfect for the CU rebirthWhere do you think CU fell in the P4 hierarchy before Prime? Do you think CU was just a “regular” coaching hire away from competing for the CFP?
My point was that anything short of Prime would have probably been more of the same in this CFB landscape. Blue chip players weren’t coming here, so the best idea would have been trying to see if a system that didn’t rely on elite talent to win would have been good enough for CU to become a perennial 6-8 game winnerPrime is perfect for the CU rebirth
Lewis was not, he is perfect for SDSU and Danny will do well there.
Agree completely, but then Prime caught fire, top players were in play, and I do not think Lewis’ offense would attract the top talent. Prime is 1 of 1 for the rebirth, only like a Nick Saban would have changed things. My point was that anything short of Prime would have probably been more of the same in this CFB landscape. I understand. But you’re now having a different conversation. Anyways, go BuffsAgree completely, but then Prime caught fire, top players were in play, and I do not think Lewis’ offense would attract the top talent. Prime is 1 of 1 for the rebirth, only like a Nick Saban would have changed things.
