It sure as sh!t ain't gonna be traditional RPO, I know that.
I understand that RPO is ubiquitous in CF these days, but I would love to see/find the next thing. I think defenses have adjusted to the idea, for the most part. And the--other--SL idea of running an offense at warp speed seems to mess up the offense more than the defense these days.

I just want to see a well-designed passing scheme, understanding the subtleties of routes moving into and sitting down in holes in the zone (including TE concepts for the center of the field), with tons of crossing routes for man coverage, and then a solid, dedicated, push-people-back running game, that can run for chunks off-tackle.

Is that too big a wish?

I would agree. Running an offense at warp speed in year 3 of a system is one thing, but year 1 is tough no matter the talent that you have that is tough go. IMO, if you run a warp speed offense, you have to be deep offensively with experienced groups. Also, your defense has to be deep too, because as you speed up the game and then have 3-6 and outs, they get no rest.

Wish the best for this kid.

Kinda bummed for him that he went from CU to SDSU, but he's obviously Lewis's guy, so hope he tears it up.
