Student section in Boulder is a great place for a young man to be. The student section in the Coleseum isn't exactly known as standing out.

The only teams that matter to Angelenos are the Dodgers and the Lakers. They'll go see championship level teams, like you say, but they're not invested in them. Hell, most of the Rams and Chargers games are home games for the other team.
Imagine seeing that USC crowd and atmosphere on Friday, then CU’s on Saturday night and thinking SC is where you want to go

Four in person visits this year.
And those have to be on his own dime don’t they? Other than one “official” visit.
Kind of nice being near a major hub. Makes travel to Boulder really easy.
Put it this way, I’m pretty sure the AD can only pay for one official visit. I’m also pretty sure boosters still can’t. So, yeah, who knows otherwise? Ultimately though, unofficial visits are the player’s responsibility unless the rules have changed and I’m not aware of it.
The family does, and if they couldn't afford it, there are plenty of people that would "lend" money to the family to pay for the trips. This is an investment that will have immediate return as soon as his HS season is over and he can officially start collecting on NIL deals.
Only has to abide by his high school state association rules.

I don't know how anybody could miss the symbolism there.

That photo was taken during JuJu’s official visit many months ago. I suspect that’s why it didn’t get a bigger reaction

NCAA OFFICIAL VISIT RULES
Each division level has its own set of rules surrounding official college visits. Division I has the strictest regulations. The following are the rules you need to know:- The NCAA allows recruits an unlimitednumber of official visits to Division I schools. Recruits are limited to one per school, unless there is a head coaching change after their visit, in which they are permitted a second visit. Visits to Division II and Division III schools are unlimited.
It was there, but it was minor. It started coming down earlier this season. We all know why.
