Seems similar to how it's played out with most of Coach Prime's top recruits. He likes to generate buzz for both sides with the recruiting process and show momentum during the home stretch.

FWIW - My best friend from college is a producer in LA who is a significant donor to the USC program UGH (and now Oregon since his daughter now goes there - double UGH). He's been getting phone calls from a group of alumni reaching out to get the pulse of what people would contribute at the end of the season to buy out Riley and go a different direction. He says it seems pretty serious.
There are definitely a lot of red flags with Riley, IMO. Guy wanted no part of being in the SEC and he went to USC before it was announced they were going to the B1G. Neither are in Top 50 in rushing offense.
I was golfing with a buddy of mine last Saturday, he is a USC booster. He said they already have a package prepared for Riley if there is not immediate improvement. FWIW, he said he and most of the boosters are already over Riley and ready to move on

Feels like UCLA is the only confident W with Notre Dame being the only confident L right now, IMO, although the rivalry aspect of that could elevate their play.
They just need to beat Nebraska
ND is a loss. I also think the trip to Seattle bites them. 6-6 is the call.
