USC while a historic program is in an incredibly crowded sports market. It is not twenty years ago where the Trojans were the only major football option in the area. The World Series didn't help attendance but given the ticket prices there is less competition than initially expected.
How many millions of people live within 90 minutes of USC ? No excuses for this.
USC fans have always been front runners. They only show up when USC is in the NC conversation.
