Alamo Bowl - Colorado vs. BYU—Dec 28— 5:30 PM—ABC

Hart is not awful. Flea is the one that i am questioning. At the end of the day, Hart is not awful but I do believe Helow needs to be our LB coach. Hart honestly needs to move to another position group or become AHC since Prime needs him. Helow is clearly our best coach aside from Livingston. Hart probably needs to be a leader but not a position coach leader.

I really think we should bring back Brew as well but neither him or Hart need to be over position groups again.

I would love to see us sign a RB coach similar to what Coach D. Lewis brought this year. Also, Dancy and Sapp coached their ass off this year.
Why the love for hart? He sucks and needs to be fired, same with flea. This is big boy fb. Ask yourself a question, what would saban do? He fire both of them.

Has anyone watched the video on the new Nebraska facility that features an almost full sized computerized “Walk-Through Room”? The ability for these kids to be in a virtual reality video room and to walk through plays on a field is and would be super helpful.

Whoever's offense this was, it sucks balls!
I think it was too many cooks in the kitchen offense.
Hire and trust your OC

It was because of the NFL comparison as to why I gave it a sad face.
Now that everything is over...
Reason I mentioned NFL is:
1) First thing that came to mind as I was a little tipsy from the OPEN BAR they had -
2) Related to 1) above - the only time I've ever seen open bar and free (and decent food) at a fan tailgate was when I went to The TailGOAT in Baltimore when the Broncos played the Ravens. And that cost $100/each.

This one was only $60 per person w/same amenities as the TailGOAT. I've been to a TON of these Buffs Bash pre-games before, and NEVER was there an open bar like this one nor as good of food selections. Hell, at ASU last year, I think I paid something like $30 and maybe got 2 tickets to be used on food and/or drink.

TL,DR - I used NFL reference because i couldnt think of anything else. Buffs Bash was awesome, well attended, lots of free beer and BBQ and in the end, the best time of the whole Bowl experience this time around. Alumni association/ForeverBuffs FINALLY got the experience right.

Every time we tried a creative play, the OL screwed up and blew it from the start. I don't know how that's on PS. We were more creative than people think, but teams are selling out to stop the pass and the run blocking is horrendous. We are handcuffed
Really so that means we should never use motion? Quick passes that aren't little bubble screens? Not role the pocket? Can't get an additional blocker in? Can only do inside zone?

PS and Loadholt are problems when you look at it. There is no imagination in the scheme and the OL was wildly undisciplined and trash once again.

Hopefully you are right in regards to Loadholt 🤞

You can't run that with FCS level TEs and a bad run blocking crew and expect to win games. He has Shedeur, the best pocket passer in football. He has Travis Hunter. The best player and 3 other NFL quality WRs and a massive drop off after that.

I saw Tcal video. What do you want Pat to do? Lose games playing his previous style which works in the NFL as you have quality players at every position or play to his strengths?

For even Tcal, there was a lot of stuff JSU ran that we simply couldn't because we couldn't execute it in practice much less the game.

We are still a work in progress. It's taking the trenches longer to catch up but they are getting better, but BYU killed them and Utah should have been a warning for us. We couldn't really do anything against Utah either. Just like this game, it was just big plays. The difference is, BYU offensive line is massively better than Utah this year. Fano couldn't make up the difference for his OL.
The warning should have come in Lincoln honestly. We have to figure out how to run and how to more effectively stop it-we're playing several teams who prioritize the run. Georgia Tech, Arizona State, K-State, Utah, and BYU.

Harrell and Hart can be hired over. We need multiple backs we can trust, and we still don't have that. Getting the Tulane transfer would be a start. Having a QB who is more willing to run the ball than Shedeur would be another step-and that's going to happen. We need inside linebackers. Our edge talent is there.

Sure, but does an upgrade to Hart exist at LB coach? I think so.

I'd also like to see somebody responsible for special teams, even if that's in conjunction with something else.

We got killed. BYU's a hell of a program, and Sitake can flat coach. We spent the month talking about this game as one last ride with Hunter and Shedeur.

If somebody has a beef about missing the CFP, its not Alabama......its BYU.

Hilarious for that to randomly show up in my feed. 😂

Since this is officially Pat show now, I am pretty sure our OL coach will be familiar with Pat.
Do you think Prime and the coordinators talked and want to do the more traditional staff building? PS would have had input on Loadholt, and he is Colorado born.

Would like to hear from RG tomorrow with Extension and staff pool increase by a lot

Agree. And, honestly, can he coach?

Yelling is not coaching.
Honestly, he gets disrespectful and if the player can't/won't take it they are labeled "soft". He may get away with it doing what he's doing now but that will not work at the college level and when it didn't, it would never be his fault because everyone is soft.
