If I remember correctly, isn't Jones the one that was tipped off by the local police when a woman reported a rape? Jones then called the alleged perpetrator to warn him and "coach" him. There were more damning details to the story as well, but I probably don't need to go into that. Isn't this right, or am I mixing this up with Baylor?

You all seem to be forgetting that Tennessee is in the SEC.
 
I hope the NCAA is having one of those manic fits of passion at all this juicy news coming out of Baylor and decides for fun they should also investigate Scott Drew.

The fact that he hasn't been investigated blows my mind. He's dirty. It's one of the bigger open secrets in college hoops.
 
Baylor getting what they deserve is ever so sweet. I guess that Pac 12 invitation is going on indefinite hold at this point.

Death Penalty! Death Penalty! Death Penalty!

Talk about a lack of institutional control: the basketball team had a murder they tried to cover up and all these many sexual assaults and related coverup attempts in more recent history with their football program! If there was ever an entire athletic department worthy of getting SMU'd into the stone age, it is this one.
 
Oh, and I am sure that other current p5 teams are just dying to kick in the door to join the b12 as they "expand." dead conference. They either pull in some programs that aren't currently p5 or they keep getting picked apart by stronger conferences with less problems. Thank you Baylor. Even if you don't get the death penalty, you are now so radioactive that no p5 conference will take you if the b12 implodes and you will chill other p5 teams from being poached to save the b12. Heroic effort. It couldn't happen to a nicer bunch.

I could see an all-texasss conference emerging, with the shorthorns adding some more texas directional schools and bible schools to fill out the conference. the annual whining about their treatment in the rankings and playoff placement will be something to behold.
