Maybe, but my in-laws went to Illinois and I have a soft spot. Plus I want the SEC to lose every game they play.
Similar for me but the complete opposite - I have a future daughter-in-law that went to USC and I have friends who are USC fans, plus I hate the B1G.
Sellers needs to become a better passer but he's gonna be fun to watch the next 2 years

You'll never guess who the referee was for the Citrus Bowl.
And somehow, they're usually ranked higher than the teams they lose to. I'm not sure what it means.
I'm disappointed that South Carolina lost but that was a fun and entertaining football game
It means they are a bunch of whiny-ass little bitches.
Why do you think the southeastern part of the country sucks so much at football, and what are your opinions on the ACC bowl record?

It means that SEC teams preseason rankings are inflated. Teams being ranked that shouldn't be. Preseason rankings are a problem, especially with the transfer portal being the way it is.And somehow, they're usually ranked higher than the teams they lose to. I'm not sure what it means.

Agree. I think Oct 15 should be first ratings.
But even then, the rankings will be inflated because it will be SEC and ACC teams playing each other. It's obvious that northern teams (except for one really good SEC team each year) take their football more seriously. Rankings should be weighted toward northern teams.

I’m all for weighting rankings by SOS, SOR, GC and other advanced metrics. Honestly, just give me Vegas Power Rankings. They are getting better at figuring out portal impact, but i’d still wait until 5-6 games into the season.

And yes the ACC sucks at football and their bowl record is comical, no doubt there. But at least they're a premier conference in basketball! Oh wait....

I qualified it by acknowledging that are one or two great SEC teams that feast on their weak conference-mates each year.
