Bowl Games (other than ours) and associated silliness 2024 Plus the Playoffs

UGA-ND going exactly like I thought it would.

No clue how UGA was favored in this. They were never going to do jack squat without Beck at QB.

**** the school, but I do like Marcus Freeman.

I don't feel like I'm being unfair by saying they got a really great draw. They got Indiana in the first home, advanced to play a Georgia team that has Carson Beck already in draft prep mode, and then get to play Penn State (who didn't exactly light the world on fire on Tuesday night) if they finish here?

They weren't expecting to need to play real ball to beat NIU, but other than that, they've been pretty good.

I puked a little in my mouth writing that, so please excuse me a minute while I go rinse.

Their OL really matured over the year. OC found his rhythm with QB. aTm game opened lots of eyes.

Beck isn't playing because he just had Tommy John surgery...not because of the draft prep.

They look better than that Oregon team. Who even invited them to the playoffs?

This will be the only upset so far. And this really isn’t an upset. ND is the better team.
If only the SEC could have gotten 2 more teams in like they felt should have happened. Also, maybe, just maybe the vaunted SEC scheduling isn’t actually as daunting as Kirby, Kiffin and Saban want to make it out to be

We’re moving toward guaranteed bids over time. That’s gonna drive some crazy. I’m
OK with it per previous post.

Notre Dame's OC at the moment...

I did. Texas not winning that game was nothing but a scathing indictment of Quin Ewers and Texas being a legit contender. He's terrible.
But it seems that Texas won the first half, and Georgia didn't look competitive until Stockton came in.
