Coach Prime's Current Health

I typed that before I saw that there’s a 50% chance it’ll metastasize. I was like, “Scary, but he caught it and is healed.” It isn’t that easy I guess. I wonder if there’s a time frame where they reach a point where they can declare him out of the woods? Like 3 years is the standard time frame I think.

Doc says he is cured because they caught it so early. It had not metastisized into the muscle yet.

Routine scans will keep an eye on things though

When I had Melanoma, the first two years post diagnosis/surgery was the critical time. Once I broke 2 years with no additional spots, they said my chances of getting Melanoma again were no higher than anyone else.

Takes a seriously confident person to admit that he is now living life with a bag, that he wet himself and the bed.

Prime though sees everything that happens to him as an opportunity to make a positive difference for others. Instead of a negative as he put it "If it can happen to Prime it can happen to you, get in and get it checked." he uses it as a way to help others.

He enjoys the money he makes and the recognition it represents but he really is in it to help others. He will save some lives by being the face of this.

Thank you to everyone who had some information but held it close. Allowing Coach Prime to talk about his own, personal, health on his own terms and at his own time is the way it should be. Respect.
Can we now get back to arguing with Hawg about whether RG should be there, or speak, or where he should sit? And why Deion was gone so damn long from the team?

This man is incredible! This is far worse than I was expecting, but it’s awesome that he has been able to overcome it so quickly. It’s also so damn cool how he works to provide opportunities to elevate everyone around him and Lauren is the perfect example. How anyone can hate this guy is beyond me.
