College Football Games 10/3

Pretty pumped for college football and the Pac-12 schedule release certainly played a part in it.

Lee Corso put the UGA mascot head on his own head.

Can't make up my mind which 10 am MT game to watch: BU @ WVU, TCU @ UT, or Mizzou @ Tenn? I'm going the SEC route today.
 
Good slate of games at noon Eastern. Auburn-UGA is the game of the day and should've been the CBS game but I guess with Bama and Jimbo they felt that was the top draw.

Relatively quiet day in the ACC with Miami and ND off. Clemson-UVA is a rematch of the last year's ACCCG but I don't expect this one to be close either. UNC-BC is one to keep an eye on - how good is UNC and they haven't played the last 2 weeks.

That UNC-BC game might be sneaky good
 
TCU up on Texas with 2:00 to go first quarter. Of note: 11 penalties so far. The record for most in a game is 36.
 
It's hard for me to watch. I think I'm turning it off to go for a walk. This UF/C0cks game is really good, but every time they show a shot of the crowd it pisses me off too much to be able to enjoy it.

Looked like TCU was gonna go into halftime only up 3 but a miscommunication between Ehlinger and his receiver gives TCU another shot to extend the lead. Looks like they'll just get a FG though

Another reason why the Pac playing football is good. We've got a chance to get a team in the CFP given how mediocre that league looks. Flag count at 17. They need to pick up the pace if they want the penalties record.

Is there another program with the resources Texas has including financial resources, recruiting base, loyalty in their state, and more that manages to consistently fall short of expectations.

If Vince Young hadn't carried them in 2005 it their last NC would have been 1970.

I feel like USC is trying to start a new anti-Dynasty.
 
This TCU-Texas game sure is sloppy. Texas is very undisciplined and it's not just the penalties. UT isn't that good, they were stopped but got bailed out by on offsides against the Frogs.

I don't expect tonight's game against UVA to be close. If Miami can pull the upset next week that would indisputably make King the clear-cut leader.

There's also Fields won't start playing for a few more weeks
 
Why is Texas ranked? They are a middle of the pack team in a mediocre conference.

Well yeah. I mean we can only judge the teams we're watching. I'm sure Scott Frost and Mel Tucker's teams will both do their parts to help Fields' Heisman hopes
