College Football News, Rumor & Humor

2 yards and a cloud of dust, just the way whittingham likes it. At least, until they play us. Then it's 7 yards.

Lawyers running things on this scandal. Understandably, considering the PSU recent history and the need for any organization to avoid multiple voices making uncontrolled statements. It looks bad, though, when the HC can't respond to questions.

What he and Penn State really wanted to say.

"Hey, look, we are doing better. At least they were of age."

I was surprised at the high bond amounts and thought, 'they're taking this seriously'

Then I saw the details and realize it's more like how waco/texas reacted to the baylor crimes.

"Each was arraigned Wednesday morning by District Judge Don Hahn, who set Lyons’ bail at $500,000 unsecured and Keys’ bail at $400,000. They will remain free and neither was required to post bail unless they violate their bail conditions."

The Yoots think their uni choices are more of a problem than their lack of a functional QB...

Vandy might hang in the top 25 with another quality SEC loss.

Navy's drubbing drops them out, Mizzou drops out even though it was a quality SEC loss.

Illinois hangs on, maybe?

Wazzu moves in.

Cuse, UNLV, Liberty, Nebraska all shed their meager vote shares.

I'll say

#20 SMU
#21 Army
#22 Wazzu
#23 Colorado
#24 Illinois
#25 Vandy

South Carolina, Arkansas, and Iowa picks up some points in the RV crowd.

Mizzou edges out Vandy by 3 points to make my prediction wrong.

Surprised Iowa got zero votes, nice to see not all of the back end votes going to B1G/SEC teams this week.

The dudes obviously never strapped one on before.

Fun reading the USC board these days. 😘

Haters said Deion wouldn’t be able to win at the P4 level and that he only won at JSU due to superior talent (that he assembled). They said Shedeur wouldn’t successfully transition from HBCU to P4 play. In two seasons CU went from 1-11 to bowl eligible and a dark horse to win the BigXII. The HBCU QB Shedeur is a top 3 QB in the country and projected 1st round pick.

The goal posts are now moved to “The Big XII sucks”. If it’s not that, it’s the wishful thinking “He’s not going to be there next year anyway”. When Deion stays at CU it’ll be “he can’t win without Travis and Sheduer” as if Deion isn’t a portal king.

We are popular again talking CP coach of the year, TH Heisman, Shedeur Heisman, Livingston asst of the year

Not that it will have any impact on the team as he was a backup but Michigan QB Jack Tuttle is retiring after experiencing his 5th diagnosed concussion.

https://sports.yahoo.com/michigan-q...-concussion-011040253.html?fr=sycsrp_catchall

He already had been relegated to bench duty with a continuous string of injuries in his career. Thanks to a RS year, Covid, and a medical redshirt he was in his 7th year at Michigan. I would hope he has at least a masters by this point.

Important though from a standpoint that it may be an example others should follow. There are a lot of college players who aren't going to be pros and who's teams aren't going to do anything special who are taking significant risk by continuing to play.

Speaking of Michigan for the second time in four years the Michigan-Michigan State game ends in a fight. Really classy there in the conference of rapist, excellence.
