He's just so likeable. he's the kind of guy who when it goes bad, no one stands up for him.
I'm sure most of it was due to money, but I read somewhere from like a beat writer (can't recall where) that he was upset about the FSU o-line coach being fired because he really valued that relationship and they haven't been able to tell him who the next o-line coach will be.
FSU and UCF already tried that strategy and it didn’t work

Following their bowl game everyone entered the portal including recruits fishing for money. All coaches also accepted jobs elsewhere after adamantly denying rumors of their departure.

I know a lot of people think he’s whiny or what not, but Dillingham is by far my favorite non CU coach. Seems like a genuinely good dude that wants the best for his players, loves what he’s doing and where he’s doing it. I hope continues being successful every year except for against CU
I like him as well. I’m actually looking forward to him matching up against Sark in the playoffs. Should see some very creative offensive concepts in that game.
Strangely, I like a lot of the coaches in the Big 12. I'm not used to that. Not only mostly solid guys that don't piss me off, but the Big 12 teams are very well coached. They mostly seem to get the most out of their talent.
