College Football News, Rumor & Humor

Ohio and Texas filled with a bunch of pussies, go figure.

I absolutely love that the sec fans have adopted horns down. If Texas was such a bunch of whiny little punks it wouldn’t be a problem but now it’s universal
Counter - the fact that UT occupies so much real estate in so many brains that fans of teams that aren’t playing Texas giving the horns down is far more amusing to me.
At this point, UT rolling into the SEC dominating them (made CCG, but all of their other sports are winning the conference as well) is golden.

Bill B might be the new coach at UNC. Here’s the key portion of the announcement. He wants them to totally change everything about their commitment to football.

Prime has something similar to the blueprint outlined here. For those who think that Prime will leave for just any job willy-nilly, think again. Colorado is all-in on Prime as its Head Football Coach and is making the investments for the way things have to be done now. Other schools are not going to make these investments. Other schools will not embrace Prime the way Colorado has.

This is gold:

The lamest part is at least from what I’ve seen Indiana only had the bison mascot for like 5 years in the mid 60’s before they got rid of it.

“After over 40 years of failed attempts, IU adopted a promising figure: the bison. An animal once native to Bloomington and showcased on the Indiana state seal, the bison was voted by the student senate to serve as the official mascot in 1965.

Around this time, Nick’s English Hut also chose a bison to serve as the icon for its
business. Alas, its use of the bison withstood the test of time, while IU’s phased out after four years. While the mascot was popular, obtaining a live bison for the sidelines was not an option; and the costume was so hot and restrictive no student wanted to step up and wear it. “

Didn’t bother watching this, but I thought the title was hilarious. UNC is delusional if they think a 72 year old hard ass with zero charisma is going to be their Coach Prime. 🤣

SUPPOSEDLY Chapel Bill's contract says that his buyout if he wants to leave is $10M up until June 1, 2025, and $1M after that date.

I'm awfully tempted to find a betting site that will give me odds that "HC in Waiting" Stephen Belichick is actually the HC on the sideline for UNC's first game.

What I love about this narrative is that it shows that most competitors and the media that covers the sport have no clue about who Deion Sanders is, what he is doing, or why it's working so well. So we're going to see a bunch of attempts to emulate which will fail.
