UCLA and Oregon State are opting out of a bowl (Not sure if Oregon State would have been invited anyway). Either way, assuming Utah wins this weekend, there are 5 teams for 4 bowl games and UW said they likely wouldn't be ready for the Indy Bowl (shocker).

Pressure to move Rose Bowl as the way I read it.
I’ve been to two football games there and enjoyed each. Kind of sad to see it go. That said, it is in pretty rough shape.
Leave the CU equipment bus where it is. CU can be the west region backup team for anyone who can't/doesnt want to play in any game.
There’s talk about having UH play in War Memorial Stadium on Maui. It’s more of a track stadium. The majority of seats are in what would be the end zones and are separated by a track that encircles the entire field. really have to feel sorry for UH. Terrible situation.
No way in the world the ND administration would let them turn down a playoff invitation.
Would be classic ND though to use no parents in the stands as their excuse for losing though after they get blown out by a much better team.
CSU Pueblo has a nicer stadium.
This isn't a surprise for them though. It has been no secret that Aloha is falling apart. IIRC they were threatened with being shut down a couple times in the past couple years because the plumbing and electrical is falling apart.
Stinks for the players and those fans who come but they also haven't been getting big crowds either
Hawaii is one of those programs that in the best of times is on the margin of being a viable FBS level program. Their attendance isn't great, they don't have a big media market, because of being on the islands running the program cost a lot more.
When the big shake-up in college football happens at some point in the future I would be surprised if they aren't shoved down to a lower classification.
Would be funny as hell if the committee uses this against them to drop them out of the top 4 after Clemson runs them.
