College Football News, Rumor & Humor

Their stadium renovation is costing roughly $450m (it’s named after this guy, btw). I wonder if most of this $300m donation is going to fund/pay off the debt incurred.

I just realized that the full stadium renovation isn't done yet, they still have one whole side to do. I'm guessing that will be done next off-season. I'm also guessing this 2nd phase is included in the total cost

If you look at our roster by grades and the fact we have Juju, it would be the best investment ever to give Prime $50 Million next year and 2027 to win the Big12 and a playoff game or heck a Natty

The success would pave the way for likely a B1G invite

Sports talk guy just now talking about the Hawaii stadium project. $400M for a capacity of 22.5K. I knew that building costs were high there, but holy forking shirt balls!
I managed a small construction project there. Very pricey. Building materials are shipped. They also have a damned 4 1/2% excise tax which contractors and subcontractors pass on to the owner. Add that to the skyrocketing costs of building materials and $400 million just doesn’t go as far as It used to.

Big 12 is going to start putting out daily injury reports for football, men's basketball and women's basketball players. I'm not sure how this helps the student athletes, but I'm sure that gamblers will be pleased (as long as they can trust the reports).

I think it’s to help the gambling sites that are partnering with (ie, giving large sums of money to) the Big12. They want valid injury data to set lines, etc.

The sanctions are dropping on Michigan tomorrow and some message board genius says he knows what they are. Doubt this is legit but if it actually happened, that would be devastating

My sources say the penalties for Michigan are just as he says. But I am hearing the penalties will actually be imposed on Murray State.
