That's crazy. Adding titles that a computer 100 years later says were theirs.
In addition to 1957 and 2010, Auburn will recognize the 1910, 1913, 1914, 1958, 1983, 1993 and 2004 teams as national champions.

Five of these teams (1913, 1957, 1983, 1993, 2010) are formally recognized in the NCAA Football Record Book as national champions because they were awarded by NCAA-recognized independent selectors. The other four were awarded national titles, but by selectors not formally recognized by the NCAA.

Auburn is also expected to add SIAA Conference titles in 1904, 1908 and 1910 to push the total of conference championships to 15.

This for sure means were joining the Big Ten! They like combinations.

Four schools wear Red and White. Three more wear Crimson.
Three schools have an M on their helmets
Two schools with N on their helmets
Two schools with W on their helmets.

We would therefore compliment the conference and be the third school to wear black and the second school to wear black and gold.

This whole thing feels like Indiana decided to latch on to all of the hype Colorado got after Prime came on board. They used that mascot for what a whole 2 years like 60 years ago.

Why it's taken so long to get to this point that was always inevitable is peak College Football. Good to see that the P4 will all be on a level playing field when it comes to conference games, although I suspect the thinking behind this from the SEC is that it's going to boost their SOR/SOS metrics and they will be rewarded and given even further BOTD when it comes to at large playoff bids.

There it is. AND they are actually going to require them to schedule one P4 OOC game. What a world we live in!
