Did we really have Van Diest covering a WR 50 yards down field?
He's not good enough.Lewis needed a Spring
Also, where is Mangham?
I would have had no problem him playing all year, but CU was 4-1 with Noyer. You have/had no idea how Lewis would have been good all year other than he was the highest graded QB on the roster as a true freshman with no spring ball, almost no summer, and 3 weeks of fall ball. I get you and others hate Dorrell and Chev, but Lewis has played 3 series. I think he looks good and am excited about his development. The "I told you so" is predictableWhat? If Lewis was our QB all season, we win games like this.
I’ll take apologies off air from y’all who gave me shyt for saying we should’ve rolled with BLewis all season.
I disagree - until he got hurt vs utah, Noyer was fine.I’ll take apologies off air from y’all who gave me shyt for saying we should’ve rolled with BLewis all season.
I don't even blame him. Not like his accuracy tonight would have been a surprise. Coaches had to know they were rolling the dice with bad odds.Honestly, I blame this L on Noyer. We missed easy TDs. This should be a one score game at most.
Who was it earlier who said Summers might get poached by an SEC team?Did we really have Van Diest covering a WR 50 yards down field?
That argument is like when they compare QB records vs other QBs as if Tom Brady and Peyton Manning are playing each other personally.Well, TD horns
Well he shouldn’t even be on the field in a P5 game but here we are.Did we really have Van Diest covering a WR 50 yards down field?
Appleton hung him out to dryDid we really have Van Diest covering a WR 50 yards down field?
I said the exact same thing earlier. Totally unblocked guys absolutely whiffing. Strange. How do we manage to get so few hits on QBs, even when getting pressure?
Hot take Tuesday!how refreshing it is to see QB playing QB and not an athlete (Montez) or Tebow style (Sefo) playing QB in the black and gold. Been 13 years since I’ve seen that*.
*Cody was an undersized guy but he was a QB.
Wrong play by Appleton on that!JVD covering a slot WR ain't it. Great safety help.
The team was 4-1 because Brew was elite and Landman was one of the best three defensive players in college football. Noyer had flashes but got worse as the season went along. My point the entire time was that Lewis’ development was more important than any individual game or season record. Given the upside flashes he’s shown against our toughest opponent, I think I was dead right.I would have had no problem him playing all year, but CU was 4-1 with Noyer. I don’t want Landman covering a WR either.Well he shouldn’t even be on the field in a P5 game but here we are.
Be careful criticizing the great ChivThat was bad play calling by Chev.
