Not trying to say that 50% will be KU fans. But it will be a sizable contention, most likely. I hope I'm wrong and it's 95% CU fans.
I do agree that the RPI benefits are good, and the exposure to a hostile crowd is also good and in theory, gets us ready for other tough venues in the Pac-12. Still, Kansas isn't playing us because they think we're a good up and coming program. They're playing us as a favor to the KU alumni in the Denver area
Again, probably in the minority but I think KU benefits more from playing us then we do from playing them, at least at this time. I would rather schedule a home and home with a team like New Mexico, then I would extend our KU series. That would also be a RPI boost, although not quite to the same extent that KU is. There's other teams, especially at the mid-major level that would provide a boost in RPI, assuming there was a mutual interest to play.
Even North Carolina, has the obvious KU connection and might be open to playing CU in the future.
