Colorado RPI Watch

Dayton destroying Charlotte. Up by 18 with 4 minutes left.

Baylor down 4 at WVU with 15 1/2 to play.

Dayton finished off Charlotte 88-67. Dayton came in RPI 122 and Charlotte at RPI 59. That's the type of road win that gets the Flyers squarely back in the mix to be a Top 100 neutral site win for us.

Nice win by Dayton at Charlotte. Flyers moved up 13 spots to 109th in the RPI. Would be EXCELLENT for them to get in the top 100.

I'm very surprised by that USC win over Zona.

Probably good for us. That should move USC back into the Top 100.

Thursday, 2/28 games that impact our RPI:

Hartford (15-12, 8-6) hosts UMBC (6-21, 4-10) at 5pm. This wouldn't be the type of win that will improve Hartford's RPI, but every win helps us. 50% of the RPI calculation is the record of opponents versus D1 competition.

Wofford (12-17, 6-10) is at Charleston (20-9, 12-4) at 5:30pm ESPN3. Stranger things have happened than a Wofford win here. Longshot, though.

Murray State (20-7, 10-4) hosts Tennessee-Martin (8-19, 4-10) at 6pm. Murray State should win and needs to in order to stay in the Top 100.

Northern Arizona (10-17, 7-9) hosts Idaho State (5-21, 4-12) at 6:35pm. Lumberjacks should get this one.

Texas Southern (15-14, 14-2) hosts Southern (20-8, 14-2) at 7pm. This game will decide the SWAC regular season champ. Southern won their first matchup on Jan 2 (at Southern) 63-57. TXS has won 14 of 15 since then.

Pac-12
Utah (11-15, 3-11) @ Cal (18-9, 10-5) at 7pm on ESPNU. Utes could help us in the standings here, but I don't give it much chance. Cal won 62-57 when they played in SLC.

Oregon State (13-15, 3-12) @ Oregon (22-6, 11-4) at 9pm on ESPNU. OSU win could potentially help us. Rivalry game. Beavs have enough talent to pull the upset. Ducks won 79-66 in Corvalis earlier this year.

Artis playing is likely to do more harm than good for Oregon tonight. Good chance that he's rusty and it upsets the flow as they work him back in. Long-term they're much better with him, but maybe not for the next few games. I'll be watching with interest tonight.

At least Utah is no longer completely worthless as a travel partner, they are starting to make teams really work for the wins.

Would have preferred pairing you guys with Oklahoma or Texas Tech but bygones...Utes let us go on a 20-2 run to end the half

TX-Southern does it again. Now 16-14 after winning the rematch with Southern by 13.
